Portsmouth youngster Ashley Harris has signed a new professional deal with the club.
The 18-year-old has agreed a two-year deal after breaking into the first team last season under boss Michael Appleton.
The new terms will keep the Portsmouth-born attacker at Fratton Park until 2014.
"I'm looking forward to getting going again and making some more appearances for the first team," Harris told the club's official website.
"It felt good to break into the side last season, for my hometown club. Michael Appleton has been very supportive and has helped me out a lot.
"Now I'll be trying to get games to help the club do well next season.
"With the situation here, it's a massive opportunity for the younger players."
