Holly Holm Likely to Make UFC Debut on Dec. 6 in Las Vegas

Former world boxing champion and rising MMA standout Holly Holm will likely make her UFC debut on Dec. 6 at UFC 181 in Las Vegas, according to a report on Wednesday evening.

Holm will likely face Russian fighter Milena Dudieva, as reported by “UFC Tonight,” but a deal is still currently in the works.

Holm (7-0) came to the world of mixed martial arts in 2011, following a boxing career that saw her win multiple welterweight titles. After making her MMA debut, Holm has gone undefeated and won six of her seven fights by either knockout or technical knockout.

While a UFC debut is likely to be announced soon, things didn't seem that way just a few months ago. UFC President Dana White said he was no longer interested in signing the fighter after being unable to come to terms with her management. Weeks later, White changed his tune and became open to negotiations once again.

UFC 181 is currently scheduled to be headlined by a welterweight title fight between champion Johny Hendricks and No. 1 contender Robbie Lawler.
