Wakefield Wildcats have appointed former player Ryan Hudson as the club's youth development manager.
The 32-year-old hooker retired as a player at the end of the season with Castleford and is returning to his home-town club where he made 51 appearances from 2000 to 2001.
"I am really excited about the future," said Hudson, who is a qualified personal trainer, sports nutritionist and clinical hypnotherapist. "I am looking forward to helping the kids and working with the youth development to see them develop into full-time, first-team players which will be great."
