Rob Klinkhammer scored his first two goals of the season as the Phoenix Coyotes defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 5-3 on Sunday at PNC Arena, winning their third game in a row.
Klinkhammer's tiebreaking goal came 22 seconds into the third period, assisted by Zbynek Michalek and goalie Mike Smith.
The Coyotes, wrapping up a five-game road trip, also received goals from Mikkel Boedker, Lauri Korpikoski and Shane Doan. In goal, Smith made 31 saves.

Kings 3, Panthers 0
Backup goalie Ben Scrivens made his first start of the season and earned a shutout as the Los Angeles Kings blanked the Florida Panthers 3-0 at the BB&T Center.
The Kings won their third straight game-- including two in a row on the road - and improved to 4-2 overall.
Florida fell to 2-4, including 1-1 at home. In their four losses, the Panthers have been outscored 19-3. Los Angeles outshot Florida 29-20.
