Cesc Fabregas was involved in all three goals as Barcelona moved four points clear of Atletico Madrid in La Liga with a 3-0 win at Celta Vigo.
Fabregas then saw his shot from distance come back off the bar three minutes after half-time only to land in the net via the grounded Yoel, who was dreadfully unfortunate to see the ball hit his back as Barca opened up a 2-0 lead.
That quickly became three when Fabregas darted onto a Lionel Messi pass to thump a powerful shot beyond Yoel on 54 minutes and seal Barca's 10th league win out of 11 this season.
"Maybe again we were not effective enough up front, myself included," Fabregas told Canal Plus.
"But the important thing is to create chances and play well and then the goals will come and I think today's performance was pretty comprehensive," he added.
"There are enough games that everyone will get their chance and the priority is to make sure we are champions again at the end of the season."
Nearest rivals Atletico visit Granada on Thursday evening with third-placed Real Madrid nine points adrift with a game in hand before they host Sevilla at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night.
Barca continued their fine run of form having downed Real Madrid on 2-1 on Saturday. They could have won by more with Yoel making a number of fine stops to deny Messi his usual goal while Nolito saw a free-kick come back off the bar in other notable action in the second half.
Neymar and Xavi both watched from the bench with Andres Iniesta replacing Fabregas for the last 20 minutes or so.
