This summer saw the 32-year-old leave Vallecas after six seasons in Madrid and following on from 18 League goals scored in 2012-13.
Strongly linked with a move to Granada, the Andalucians have today confirmed his capture on a three-year contract.
“The striker Francisco Medina Luna, ‘Piti’ is a Granada player,” confirmed the club via their official Twitter account on Thursday.
“He has signed for the next three seasons. A great signing!”
The striker will reportedly earn €1.2m a season with Granada, almost doubling his annual salary picked up at Rayo.
