Wolves midfielder Jamie O'Hara has revealed he needs to undergo a second operation to try to resolve a hernia problem.
The 25-year-old has not played for the Molineux club since March and has used Twitter to inform fans that he expects to spend a further eight weeks on the sidelines.
The former Spurs man has played just 19 games for Wanderers since his £5million move last summer, and is now not likely to feature until November.
O'Hara posted: "Sorry to disappoint the fans but am having surgery tomorrow (Wednesday) on my hernia - the first operation didn't seem to work.
"I'm hoping to be fit in around eight weeks so I'll have a lot of the season left.
"I'd rather take my time now than rush it and have problems for the rest of my career."
