Burnley have had an improved bid for Derby defender Jason Shackell accepted, it has been reported.
Derby had turned down two previous offers from Burnley for the 28-year-old centre-half, plus two others from another club, but BBC Radio Lancashire have confirmed a new bid of £1.1million had now been accepted.
Meanwhile, Burnley have completed their second summer signing with the capture of winger George Porter from Leyton Orient.
The 20-year-old has signed a three-year deal, with the two clubs yet to agree on a compensation fee for the right-sided player.
"We believe George is an exciting young player with the potential to develop further with us," Burnley boss Eddie Howe told the club's official website.
"He will increase competition in the wide areas in our squad, but is also one for the future. He's had a taste of League football and we'll now be working with him to help him make the step up to the Championship and make a big impact here at Turf Moor."
