Much was made of Rovers' 84-6 defeat at home to Wigan on Easter Monday and they bounced back in style. The teams went into the half-time interval level at 10-10 - David Hodgson and Josh Hodgson crossing for the hosts while Mark Percival scored all of Saints' points with a couple of tries and a conversion.
The Robins stepped it up after the break, restoring their lead through Cory Paterson's try before Adam Swift raced 90 metres to reduce the deficit. However, Percival missed the conversion and Hull KR made him pay as Alex Brown dived in on the outside with Craig Hall kicking a late penalty to add gloss to the score.
