Barbarians coach Dai Young has named James Hook at fly-half and Dwayne Peel at scrum-half, with Tindall to partner Casey Laulala in the midfield.

Young, the Wasps director of rugby, has named three players from the club in the starting line-up, with Elliot Daly at full-back, Marco Wentzel in the second row and Jonathan Poff at openside flanker.

Imanol Harinordoquy starts at number eight, with Alessandro Zanni at blindside flanker and Jim Hamilton will pack down alongside Wentzel in the second row.

Saracens-bound prop James Johnston, Wales international Matthew Rees and Italian veteran Andrea Lo Cicero form the front row, while there is plenty of depth on the Barbarians bench.

Nick Evans, Dimitri Yachvili and Schalk Brits are among the replacements who could get a taste of the action at Twickenham before the Barbarians head to Hong Kong for their game against the British and Irish Lions.

Sergio Parisse, Kahn Fotuali'i and Joe Rokocoko will be available for that game on June 1.
