Samsung Elec shares open down but rebound after second quarter earnings

SEOUL (Reuters) - Shares of Samsung Electronics Co Ltd <005930.KS> opened lower but rebounded quickly after the world's top smartphone maker issued guidance for weaker-than-expected operating profit for the April-June quarter on Tuesday. By 0018 GMT, Samsung shares were up 0.1 percent at 1.233 million won ($1,099.26), compared with a 0.2 percent rise for the broader market <.KS11>.
