Santos wins in Madeira with 63
Ricardo Santos won the Madeira Islands Open in Portugal with a superb 63 in the final round.
The home favourite finished the tournament on 22 under par to finish four shots ahead of second placed Swede Magnus A Carlsson.
Next came Andreas Harto on 17-under with English duo John Parry and Oliver Wilson one shot further back.
It was the first European Tour title for Santos who went into the tournament ranked 306th in the world.
It was however, a severely weakened field with most of the Tour's big names playing at the Players Championship at Sawgrass.
The top ranked player in the tournament was Tommy Fleetwood who is ranked only 192 in the world. He finished on four under.
