Scotland will play the United States in Florida at the end of the season, the Scottish Football Association has confirmed.

Craig Levein's side will take on their hosts in Jacksonville on Saturday, May 26, a week after the Scottish Cup final. Scotland will end a training camp with a friendly against Jurgen Klinsmann's side at EverBank Field, the home of NFL team the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Levein said: "Following the match against Slovenia in February, this provides another opportunity to get the group together ahead of the World Cup 2014 qualifiers in September."

He added: "We will have an extended period together in May, with a training camp in the USA prior to the match on the 26th, which is very important as we prepare for the qualifiers.

"We're all looking forward to this match, which gives us a chance to test ourselves against a nation that is emerging as one of the top sides in world football."

The countries last met in 2005 at Hampden when Andy Webster scored Scotland's goal in a 1-1 draw. Their previous meeting in the US was a goalless draw in Washington in 1998.
