Scots win ahead of Canada clash

And next up for the Scots are Canada, who are red hot favourites after earning their eighth consecutive victory in Switzerland with a 10-6 win, also over Sweden.

Tom Brewster's team earned a comfortable win over Sweden, taking control of the match by winning the third and fifth ends by two and three stones respectively. The victory was their sixth against two defeats, a record only bettered by Glenn Howard's Canadian team, though Rui Liu's Chinese team also have six victories to their credit.

New Zeland, Norway and Sweden all have five wins each to their names.

Scotland face Canada on Wednesday evening.
