Scott Jorgensen Back to Bantamweight, Faces Manny Gamburyan at UFC San Diego
After a four-fight stint as a flyweight, Scott Jorgensen will return to the 135-pound division to take on Manny Gamburyan at UFC Fight Night: Mir vs. Duffee on July 15. UFC officials announced the bout on Monday.
Jorgensen (15-10) dropped down to the flyweight division in December 2013, but lost three out of four fights in the weight class. After the unsuccessful change, Jorgensen returns to the weight class where he was once a title contender.
Gamburyan (14-8, 1 NC) made his bantamweight debut in September, defeating Cody Gibson by submission. The Ultimate Fighter season 5 runner-up hopes to continue winning in his new division when he faces Jorgensen in July.

UFC Fight Night: Mir vs. Duffee takes place at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego on July 25 and his headlined by a heavyweight match-up between former champion Frank Mir and Todd Duffee.
