Hearts v Celtic

Kelvin Wilson returns to the Celtic squad for their Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Hearts at Tynecastle. The Hoops defender missed Saturday's 1-0 home SPL defeat by Inverness with flu. Defender Charlie Mulgrew (virus) and midfielder Paddy McCourt (knock) are doubts, while left-back Emilio Izaguirre could be ready for Saturday's Scottish Cup match against Arbroath following his recovery from a hamstring complaint.

Hearts will be without Danny Grainger for Wednesday's Clydesdale Bank Premier League fixture with Celtic. The left-back is expected to be out for around three months with a knee injury which could yet require surgery after suffering a partial tear of his anterior cruciate ligament in Saturday's 0-0 draw at Motherwell. Kevin McHattie could deputise or Ryan McGowan could switch flanks from right-back. Right-back Jamie Hamill (knee) is still unavailable.

St Johnstone v Hibs

St Johnstone boss Steve Lomas will assess Nigel Hasselbaink ahead of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Hibernian at McDiarmid Park. The Saints striker hobbled off with a knock in the 2-1 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Saturday. Kevin Moon, Jamie Adams and Peter Pawlett remain on the sidelines.

Captain James McPake and fellow defender Tim Clancy will miss Hibernian's Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash at St Johnstone. McPake has a back injury and Clancy had a minor operation on a troublesome groin injury, but could return in two to three weeks. Northern Ireland international McPake could also miss Sunday's William Hill Scottish Cup fourth round clash with Hearts, who beat Hibs to the trophy in May's final. Gary Deegan (jaw) remains out.
