The Slovakian international has been tracked by a host of Europe’s top sides in recent times, but with the partenopei’s stock on the rise both domestically and in Europe, Juraj Venglos told Radio CRC his client is happy with the current direction his career is taking.
“Hamsik is living through the most important period of his career,” Venglos said. “Marek is very tied to Napoli.
“This club is the best choice for him because they will allow him to continue to grow and improve.
“The dream of every footballer is to win important honours and my client wants to do that in the Azzurri shirt.
“Napoli are still in the Scudetto race, even after the defeat to Juventus.”
Club vice-captain Hamsik, 25, signed a new four-year contract with the Naples outfit this year, though the Italians can surely expect to have their resolve tested by bids in the next few transfer windows.
“I can’t tell you how many clubs are keen on him, these are delicate matters which I don’t really want to touch,” Venglos continued.
“I just want the best for Marek’s career and Napoli. We’ll have to see what happens in the future.”
