The utility man is set to join the Premier League side in a deal worth €8m, and according to several media outlets in Italy this morning, Antonio Conte’s men will look to use that money in a move for the Bologna attacker.

The Rossoblu are hoping for around €10m for Diamanti, but would be willing to accept slightly less if they could get the full rights to defender Fredrik Sorensen – who is currently co-owned by the two teams.

The 30-year-old playmaker was instrumental in securing Stefano Pioli’s men a 13th place finish last term, scoring seven and assisting 11 goals in 34 matches.

Arturo Vidal looks to be on the verge of signing a new contract with Juve, reports this afternoon have suggested.

Respected journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that the Chile international’s agent has met with Bianconeri sporting director Beppe Marotta to discuss an extension.

Rumours earlier in the summer had insisted that the midfielder would be the target of interest from the likes of Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

But Di Marzio believes that Fernando Felicevich has been in talks with the Old Lady regarding a new deal.

Vidal’s current contract runs until 2016.

Reports in the Italian Press have suggested that Inter could make a move for Juventus defender Mauricio Isla.

The Chile international has endured a difficult time at the Bianconeri since his arrival from Udinese last summer.

The 25-year-old played just 11 Serie A games all season last time around, and it seems that Antonio Conte’s men are keen to off-load the wing-back.

Several media outlets on the peninsula believe that the Nerazzurri are an interested party, and could make a bid of around €8m for Isla.

He has previously been linked with a move to Napoli are a return to Udinese this summer.

Milan vice-President Adriano Galliani will meet with Antonio Candreva’s agent to discuss a possible move.

Il Tempo have claimed that the Rossoneri are keen on the 26-year-old and will look to make a move within the next few weeks.

Negotiations may take longer than usual however, because the Italy international is currently owned by both Udinese and Lazio.

The Zebrette and the capital club both own 50 per cent of the 26-year-old, which means Massimiliano Allegri’s men will have to agree fees with the duo.

The Gazzetta dello Sport have claimed that Milan’s Bartosz Salamon is on the verge of a move to Sampdoria.

The 22-year-old was used as part of the deal that saw Andrea Poli go from the Bluerchiati to the Rossoneri.

And according to the Milan-based paper, youngster’s switch to Genova will be completed within the next few hours.

Salamon joined the San Siro side in January this year from Brescia, but has found first team football hard to come by under Massimiliano Allegri.

Manchester United are interested in bringing Cagliari defender Davide Astori to the Premier League, reports claim.

Respected journalist Alfredo Pedulla believes that David Moyes’ side are keen to sign the centre-back and could make a bid within the next few weeks.

The English champions are looking to spend around €13m on the Italy international, but the Isolani are hoping for upwards of €15m.

The Milan youth graduate was virtually ever-present for Ivo Pulga’s men last term, playing 32 Serie A matches last time around.

Genoa are hoping to lure Emiliano Viviano to the club as Sebastian Frey verges on a move to Turkish side Bursaspor.

The French shot-stopper has reportedly come to an agreement with the Super Lig side, leaving the Rossoblu without a first team goalkeeper.

Youngster Mattia Perin is set to be sent out on loan for another season, and as such, Fabio Liverani’s men are on the lookout for an experienced No.1

And according to Corriere dello Sport, the Grifone have therefore ear-marked the 27-year-old as their prime target.

The Palermo goalkeeper spent last term on loan at Fiorentina, and could be available for around €7m.

Pablo Osvaldo is back training for Roma, despite reports linking the striker with a move away from Stadio Olimpico.

The Italy international has been heavily rumoured to be leaving the Giallorossi this summer, with Southampton and Manchester City both said to be interested.

But reports in the Italian Press today have claimed that the forward is back at Trigoria and training as normal with his teammates.

Osvlado had been in Chicago with his girlfriend on vacation, but returned on time for the first day of pre-season training.
