The Serie A duo have been linked with a move for the England full-back in recent weeks, but the out-of-favour 25-year-old has claimed that he does not want to leave the Etihad Stadium.

"I will not leave City, my goal is to stay for another 10 years,” Richards told reporters.

“It is my club. I feel good here.”

Richards was City's first-choice right back until a combination of injuries and the form of Pablo Zabaleta saw him relegated to a bit-part role.

He has only made one Premier League appearance this season, and two in the Cups, having only played eight times in all competitions last term.
