But the board member has claimed that the tactician will still be at Stadio Renato Dall'Ara next term, whilst also commenting on their match against Napoli on Wednesday.
“A month ago Pioli met with the President,” he told Radio Crc. “The relationship has been strengthened and we will move forward with him again next season.
“Facing Napoli is always difficult. In the last two seasons we have had some exciting matches against them.
“We will try to play our own game and get a positive result.”
