Checa pleased with new anti-wheelie system

Checa did 56 laps in very hot conditions with a best of 1'48.995 and also did some work with a new rear tyres that Pirelli supplied but said that, because of the heat, he didn't feel a huge difference.

"I liked the new anti-wheelie system and we’ve tried the various tyre solutions and while with some I didn’t feel much difference, perhaps to the very hot conditions, I found that others had better durability," said Checa.

"We also worked a little on set-up and towards the end, on the used tyre, we identified a solution that I liked and that allowed me to improve slightly, so I’m satisfied about that. A bit tired too of course, so now I’m going to rest and prepare for the next test sessions in Misano later this week.”
