Tottenham XI vs Rennes: Predicted lineup, team news and Covid-19 latest ahead of Europa Conference League game

Tottenham versus Rennes has been postponed due to a Covid-19 outbreak at the Premier League club.

Antonio Conte was set to be without eight first-team players who have returned positive lateral flow tests, as well as five members of staff.

Ryan Sessegnon was suspended after being sent off in the shock 2-1 defeat to NS Mura last time out, while Sergio Reguilon was a doubt after being forced off in the first half of Sunday's win over Norwich with a knock.

Giovani Lo Celso was expected to be available again after a knee injury but may not be deemed ready to start.

Conte had said he cannot currently rest Harry Kane until the level of the rest of the squad improves but has raised the possibility of Steven Bergwijn deputising up front.

A number of young players, including Dilan Markanday, were training with the first-team and Conte is likely to have to name a youthful bench.

Tottenham predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Gollini; Tanganga, Rodon, Sanchez; Doherty, Winks, Hojbjerg, Reguilon; Bergwijn, Dele; Kane.
