TUF Alums Myles Jury and Mike Ricci Square Off at UFC 165 in Toronto

The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Tuesday announced UFC 161 for June 15 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and less than 48 hours later, the fight card is nearly full.

The latest additions are Sam Stout vs. Isaac Vallie-Flagg in a lightweight bout and a welterweight showdown pitting Sean Pierson vs. T.J. Waldburger.

UFC officials announced the bouts late Thursday.

Stout (19-8-1) has alternated between wins and losses over the past couple of years, but enters this fight on the heels of a split decision victory over Caros Fodor at UFC 157. Vallie-Flagg (14-3-1) hasn’t lost a fight since mid-2007 and heads into this fight fresh off of a UFC 156 victory over Yves Edwards.

Thirty-six-year-old Pierson (13-6) was on the verge of a pink slip a little over a year ago, but won bouts over Jake Hecht and Lance Benoist in 2012, setting up another fight on his home turf. Waldburger (16-7) coming off of a victory over Nick Catone at the TUF 16 Finale, and holds a 4-2 record in the Octagon.

Interim UFC bantamweight champion Renan Barão puts his belt on the line for the second time when he faces Eddie Wineland in the UFC 161 main event.
