UFC 182: Jones vs. Cormier Official Weigh-In Results

Dana White Angling for Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier Rematch for UFC 214

The 22 fighters competing on the UFC 182: Jones vs. Cormier fight card on Saturday officially weighed in at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Friday.

Light heavyweight champion and top pound-for-pound fighter in the world Jon Jones puts his title on the line against undefeated former Olympian Daniel Cormier in the main event.

It's been a rocky road to Jones vs. Cormier both because of the personal friction between the two that led to a highly publicized media day brawl, several near misses following that brawl, and with their initial date in September pushed back because of a Jones injury.

After making weight on Friday – each weighing 205 pounds – the two will finally settle their grudge in the Octagon.

“Man, I'm just confident,” Jones said after weighing in. “I definitely have plans on doing great things. And doing great things never comes easy. I'm not expecting this to be an easy challenge, but I do believe I'll end up victorious.”

Cormier, however, was just as steadfast in his own convictions, “I'm just gonna stay undefeated. It's very telling, these people are cheering for me, they don't even like me, they just hate Jones.”

The night's co-main event features one of the promotion's most popular fighters in Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone. While Cowboy is on a five-fight winning streak and headed towards a title shot, he has to get past Myles Jury, who is undefeated and looking to use the fight to put his name into title contention.

Neither man had trouble making weight. Each tipped the scale at 155.5 pounds.

Bantamweight fighter Alexis Dufresne weighed in at 138 pounds, which is two pounds above the limit for her non-title fight with Marion Reneau. She did not re-weigh and instead will be fined 20-percent of her fight purse.
