De Villiers unsure about succeeding Proteas current Test captain Smith

Sydney, Mar. 01 (ANI): The world's best batsman, A.B. de Villiers is reportedly unsure about succeeding current South Africa captain Graeme Smith as Test captain. De Villiers declared that his current priority was to help his team end their trophy drought and said that he hates looking too 'far out ahead'. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, said that the current leadership structure of the team, which has Smith as Test captain, teammate and schoolmate Faf du Plessis as the teams Twenty20 captain and he himself as the ODI captain, was suiting both him and the South African cricket team well. De Villiers further added that he was honestly not sure if he wanted to be South Africa's Test captain and if he would be able to do a good job or not. However, de Villiers reportedly dismissed suggestions that his team had squandered golden opportunities in the past 15 years to win tournaments as the 'biggest nonsense' that he had heard in his life and insisted that it would take a mighty effort to do so in the upcoming T20 World Cup in Bangladesh and next year's ODI World Cup in Australia.
