Italy Lazio Racism
In this picture taken Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, Juventus' Paul Pogba, right, and teammate Kwadwo Asamoah celebrate Carlos Tevez' goal in front of Lazio's fans during the Italian Supercup soccer match against Lazio at the Rome Olympic stadium. A section of Lazio's stadium will be closed for Sunday's match against Udinese as punishment for racist chanting after the Italian football federation rejected an appeal from the Roman club. The federation's decision came Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, after Lazio had asked that the punishment which coincides with the opening weekend of Serie A be suspended or annulled. The punishment was installed after Juventus players Paul Pogba, Kwadwo Asamoah and Angelo Ogbonna were all targeted by abuse during last weekend's 4-0 defeat to the Turin club in the Italian Supercup. The part of the Stadio Olimpico that will be closed is the Curva Nord end, where Lazio's hard-core "ultra" fans sit. (AP Photo/Gregorio Borgia)
