    • 81' In comes Jonathan Davies again, he turns the ball over and gets it out to Phillips, who just pops the ball out into touch. That's the game over.
    • 81' The hooter has gone but away charges replacement Volavola ....
    • 80' Farell ... Wyn Jones ... Phillips ... Parling ... Phillips ... Farrell ... Jonathan Davies ... Bernard Foley turns the ball over ...
    • 78' A stunning kick across field from Bernard Foley to get his side out of trouble and up to the Lions 10m line. It's a Lions line-out, Alun Wyn Jones collects but Crawford collects the kick upfield from Farrell. Lions regain possession at the break down though and they are in possession on the half way line.
    • 74' Not great for the Lions as Roberts limps off down the tunnel.
    • 73' CONVERSION! Farrell picks up where Halfpenny left off, easily adding the extra couple of points to maximise the score for the tourists.
    • 72' TRY LIONS! All too easy for Jonathan Davies, who enjoys a simple run-in when a tired Will Skelton fails to make the tackle. Davies has been phenomenal today and more than deserves that try.
    • 70' Jamie Roberts is receiving some treatment on the sideline to a right leg injury. The Lions are playing on with 14 men.
    • 66' A fresh Lions scrum causes all kinds of trouble for the Tahs in the scrum. But Corbisiero is penalised the second time around and the Tahs get a chance to regain some territory.
    • 63' Jonathan Davies breaks down the right wing before offloading to Sean Maitland. Maitland is being pushed into touch and flings the ball infield. It takes a bounce before the Lions regain possession and spread the ball across the field. Farrell puts up a kick for Zebo .... the Lions are playing advantage after offside from the Tahs ... Horne just collects the ball before Zebo but they will come back for the penalty in the middle of the park.
    • 61' Youngs, Vunipola, Adam Wyn Jones, Mike Phillips and Leigh Halfpenny all also went off, the latter immediately having an ice pack taped to his left knee.
    • 60' The entire Lions bench has just come on, with the exception of Farrell who was already on. That's one way to use your substituions, I guess. O'Connell certainly went off, who the rest were is a bit of a mess at the moment. We'll get you up to date with that in a minute.
    • 59' Penalty Waratahs after a knock-on. And they gain an extra five metres when Phillips refuses to hand over the ball.
    • 59' Warburton ... Alun Wyn Jones ... Jonathan Davies ... Zebo ... he has Halfpenny on the outside of him ...
    • 57' The Tahs are playing advantage after being taken out in the air on the lineout. Skelton finds Mitchell, a great pick-up from the Wallaby, who then finds Crawford. Crawford loses the ball and they will come back across the field for the penalty.
    • 55' CONVERSION! Fantastic from Halfpenny once again as he just curls the ball inside the right post, from the left wing, to add yet another couple of points to the tally.
    • 54' TRY LIONS! That all came from the interception as the Lions spread the ball across the field to Tom Croft, right on the left touchline. And the England man shows a decent turn of pace to break away and force his way over the line. The ref goes back to the TMO to check the interception wasn't offside but it's fine and the try counts.
    • 53' Jonathan Davies makes the interception and breaks through the remaining Tahs defence. The Lions have their hosts on the back foot now ...
    • 51' PENALTY LIONS! Jamie Roberts is takes the ball on from the line out with support from Alun Wyn Jones. The Tahs are caught offside and Leigh Halfpenny (who else?) adds another three points. He has just beaten Ronan O'Gara's record for points scored in Australia by a Lion. That's 28 points to the Welsh fullback now.
    • 51' The Lions carry the ball just over the half-way line before earning themselves an attacking line-out.
    • 50' Sexton makes way for Owen Farrell.
    • 47' CONVERSION! McKibbin adds another cracking kick to add the extras after a bit of a scuffle on the try line while the decision is made by the TMO.
    • 46' TRY WARATAHS! Will Skelton rips the ball out after the Lions collect, juggles with the ball for a bit and then offloads to Carter, who dives over for his second try. Nothing wrong with the grounding of the ball but the TMO will have a look to check Skelton didn't knock on first.
    • 46' The Waratahs are fantastic from the re-start, immediately earning themselves an attacking line-out.
    • 45' CONVERSION! Was it ever in doubt? Halfpenny thumps yet another metronomic kick in between the posts to convert his own try for a second time. That takes his personal tally to 25 points and the Lions tally to 30.
    • 44' TRY LIONS! Fantastic from Sexton and Roberts again, the Welshman finding Davies. Davies breaks through the game line before a beautiful little off-load to Halfpenny outside him .... and the Welsh full-back accelerates away to touch down for his second try of the evening.
    • 43' The Lions earn the first line-out of the second half, it's an attacking line-out just inside the Tahs half ...
    • 41' The home side get the clash back underway through the boot of McKibben...
    • HT WARATAHS 10-23 LIONS
    • 40' CONVERSION! What an outstanding kick from Halfpenny from out wide on the right wing. He curls the ball just inside the left upright to convert his own try with the last kick of the half.
    • 40' TRY LIONS! The Lions spread the ball wide across towards the right wing. O'Connell ... Sexton ... Davies ... Halfpenny takes the ball on, with Maitland on the outside. But he doesn't need his winger and Halfpenny goes over for the tourists second try.
    • 39' Halfpenny ... Sexton ... Youngs ... O'Connell ... Vunipola ... Skelton makes a big hit ... O'Connell again ... Zebo ... Sexton ... O'Connell ... Wyn Jones ... Heaslip ...
    • 37' Mitchell again takes the ball on and makes a good five metres before Jed Holloway is penalised for not releasing the ball as he is taken to ground. The Lions get a chance to clear their lines but they only make it as far as the 10m line in their own half.
    • 36' Mitchell is hit hard by Roberts but he just manages to get the ball off-loading to Crawford. Fantastic hands from the Wallaby. Halfpenny manages to bring down Crawford after 20m later. NSW still in possession...
    • 33' PENALTY WARATAHS! McKibbin signals that he wants to go for the posts off that penalty and it proves the right decision as he curls his kick from the 10m line just inside the right posts. The deficit back down to a converted try now.
    • 32' Foley makes a few metres through the Lions side before the hosts get a penalty when Adam Jones is penalised for offside ...
    • 31' Phillips kicks upfield for Tom Croft to chase but the Tahs touch down just before Croft gets there. It'll be a scrum five though, the Tahs have not escaped the danger just yet.
    • 30' Zebo goes up for a great collect on the high ball but his elbow catches Mitchell on the way down and the Tahs full-back stays down from the innocent collision.
    • 29' Mitchell attempts the chip through down the right wing and sets off in chase but the ball dribbles out into touch and the Lions have the line-out mid-way between the 10m and 22m line.
    • 27' PENALTY LIONS! Almost immediately the Tahs do concede the penalty, and Halfpenny adds another three points to his own personal tally, sending the ball over from just inside the half-way line on the left wing.
    • 26' Tahs skipper Dave Dennis is given a talking to with Sam Warburton out players being shoved at the ruck. Next stop a penalty against the Tahs and then a yellow card says referee Jaco Peyper.
    • 24' Will Skelton forces his way over the line from an attacking line-out. He has three Lions hanging off him as he crosses the line and he just looses the ball forward before he touches down as he rolls over off his back. The Lions lucky to escape there.
    • 21' McCutcheon and Crawford both go to the loose ball and almost end up grappling with each other as it takes a few seconds for them to realise they are battling a team-mate. NSW are growing in confidence now as they take the ball over the 22m line.
    • 19' PENALTY LIONS! Never in doubt for Halfpenny from on the 22m line and just to the right of the posts. The Lions put a bit of extra distance between themselves and the Tahs again. Six points the difference once again.
    • 18' Zebo, again, is causing havoc in the NSW defensive line and earns Halfpenny another kick at goal when the Tahs fail to release after the tackle.
    • 15' CONVERSION! Brendan McKibbin matches Halfpenny's tricky kick from out on the left wing to convert the try and haul his side back to three points away from the Lions.
    • 15' TRY WARATAHS! Super one-handed off-load from Peter Betham after a kick across field from Bernard Foley. Betham stumbles in the tackle from Maitland but he manages to get the ball infield to Carter, who just accelerates away for the score. Great reply from the Tahs, who have been under pressure right from kick-off.
    • 14' Sexton bundles Zebo out into touch on the left wing ... but, worryingly for the Lions, Sexton is down and needs treatment in the middle of the park.
    • 12' The Lions are penalised in the scrum as the Tahs escape further punishment. They can only clear as far Halfpenny though and the Lions run at their opponents again,
    • 10' The Lions on the attack again as Halfpenny finds Jamie Roberts but Drew Mitchell is there to outmuscle the Welshman, who spills the ball and Mitchell has managed to earn his side the defensive scrum on the five metre line.
    • 8' CONVERSION! The ever metronomic Halfpenny adds the conversion from out on the left wing. A kick from half-way and a kick on the angle from the left wing so far for the Welshman.
    • 7' TRY LIONS! Fantastic from the Lions again as they cut a swathe through the NSW defence. Zebo finds Jonathan Davies, who takes the ball 10m before offloading to Jonny Sexton on the inside. And it's the Lions fly-half, who takes the ball over the line unchallenged.
    • 6' Lions on the attack again though Alun Wyn Jones ... he finds Sexton down the centre of the park ...
    • 3' PENALTY LIONS! Fullback Halfpenny, who still hasn't missed a kick all tour, thumps the ball right down the middle of the posts from smack on the halfway line. Rob Horne conceded that penalty for a dump tackle on Tom Youngs. What a sparkling start from the Lions.
    • 2' So nearly a try but a great last-ditch tackle by the Tahs has pushed Zebo's left foot just into touch before he managed to get the ball down.
    • 1' Simon Zebo, in his first touch of the ball, has raced down the left wing and has crossed over. Was he in touch though? The decision will go to the TMO.
    • 1' The Lions kick-out through the boot of Jonny Sexton ...
    • 10:38 The Lions run out on to the field while the 'Tahs saunter out to the bulk of the applause from the crowd at the Allianz Stadium - formerly the Sydney Football Stadium.
    • 10:31 Kick-off today has been bumped back by 10 minutes meaning that we will now be getting underway at 10:40. All three Tests have also been pushed back as well meaning they will now kick-off at 11:05.
    • 10:30 British and Irish Lions: 15 Leigh Halfpenny, 14 Sean Maitland, 13 Jonathan Davies, 12 Jamie Roberts, 11 Simon Zebo, 10 Jonny Sexton, 9 Mike Phillips, 1 Mako Vunipola, 2 Tom Youngs, 3 Adam Jones, 4 Alun Wyn Jones, 5 Paul O'Connell, 6 Tom Croft, 7 Sam Warburton, 8 Jamie Heaslip. Replacements: 16 Richard Hibbard, 17 Alex Corbisiero, 18 Dan Cole, 19 Geoff Parling, 20 Dan Lydiate, 21 Ben Youngs, 22 Owen Farrell, 23 Rob Kearney.
    • 10:30 In their absence, Sean Maitland, Jonathan Davies and Simon Zebo - who makes his first start after teaming up with the Lions as cover for the injured Tommy Bowe - will get the chance to impress. Rob Kearney makes his first appearance of the tour off the bench, with the Ireland full-back having recovered from a hamstring tear. Alex Corbisiero, who replaced the injured Cian Healy in the tour squad, is named on the bench as he looks to gatecrash the Test line-up.
    • 10:30 The British and Irish Lions will send out their strongest XV yet on their 2013 tour. Although a number of backs are being rested after a gruelling schedule, at least 10 of the line-up to face the Waratahs look likely to run out against Australia in the first Test in seven days. Brian O'Driscoll, George North and Alex Cuthbert are all being rested, as is Manu Tuilagi - with the England centre having suffered a 'stinger' injury.
    • 10:25 Waratahs: 15 Drew Mitchell, 14 Cam Crawford, 13 Rob Horne, 12 Tom Carter, 11 Peter Betham, 10 Bernard Foley, 9 Brendan McKibbin, 1 Jeremy Tilse, 2 John Ulugia, 3 Paddy Ryan, 4 Will Skelton, 5 Ollie Atkins, 6 Jed Holloway, 7 Pat McCutcheon, 8 Dave Dennis (capt). Replacements: 16 Luke Holmes, 17 Richard Aho, 18 Sam Talakai, 19 Lopeti Timani, 20 AJ Gilbert, 21 Matt Lucas, 22 Ben Volavola, 23 Tom Kingston.
    • 10:20 The Waratahs, though, are without Benn Robinson, Sekope Kepu, Kane Douglas, Michael Hooper, Wycliff Palu, Berrick Barnes, Adam Ashley-Cooper and Israel Folau, who have all stayed with the Wallabies squad, while Tatafu Polota Nau, Greg Peterson, Mitchell Chapman, Sitaleki Timani, Michael Hodge and Lachie Turner are injured.
    • 10:20 Drew Mitchell, who has been capped 63 times, starts at full-back, while fellow international Paddy Ryan is handed the No 3 jersey. Brendan McKibbin, an uncapped member of the Australia squad that faced Wales in 2012, is at scrum-half - with the Scottish-born 27-year-old having racked up 241 points in 45 Super Rugby appearances. am Crawford, who is second in the try-scoring charts this season with seven, is named on the wing, while Pat McCutcheon has been passed fit to start on the openside flank
    • 10:15 The Waratahs have been buoyed by the availability of some of their experienced players for the clash: Captain Dave Dennis and Rob Horne have been away with the Wallabies, however they have been cleared to play - while Bernard Foley and Matt Lucas have been released from the Australia Sevens set-up.
    • 10:10 The Waratahs are coming into the clash on the back of a confidence-boosting win of Western Force after back-to-back agonising defeats to the Crusaders (by one point) and the Rebels (by two points).
    • 10:05 This time last week the touring Lions were pushed hard by the Queensland Reds but since then they have absolutely cruised past a Combined Country side on Wednesday.
