    • 80' BUT IRELAND TURN IT OVER AGAIN....they hang on to the ball until the clock turns red and Sexton boots it away. Ireland have the win but they made hard work of it. Thanks for joining us.
    • 79' O'Connell steals the lineout but then Cronin boots away to touch when he should have hung onto the ball maybe. Scotland have another lineout but this time in the Irish half.
    • 78' O'Connell pounces on a ball that comes loose and Fitzgerald boots it away…however Scotland hit straight back at Ireland - again they have a line-out in the Irish half…
    • 78' Scotland win the lineout and here they come again.
    • 77' Scotland now in the 22....but the ball pops loose and O'Driscoll with a desperate kick away that finds touch..but not too far outside the 22 so another chance to Scotland coming up.
    • 76' Scotland lineout now not too far from the Irish 22...Ireland need to show discipline.
    • 74' Ireland scrambling the ball around in their own half and Cronin is finally pushed out of bound in his own half – about 40m out – Scotland have a lineout.
    • 72' More sloppy play from Ireland puts them under pressure but Sexton relieves that with a great deep kick to touch. Three knock-ons (one from Ireland, two from Scotland) not called due to advantages.
    • 71' (18-21) The referee calls penalty and Dan Parks uses the advantage to pop over a drop goal. Scotland right back into this.
    • 70' Max Evans finds a gap to get them closer.....Ireland under pressure now.
    • 70' Scotland now close to the 22 and their fans are starting to believe.
    • 68' Knock-on from O'Connell at midfield and Scotland have a put-in.
    • 68' O'Gara's afternoon is over....Sexton comes on. O'Gara ends the day on 998 international points.
    • 67' O'Gara then puts the restart out on the full....Surely Ireland can't throw this one away?
    • 66' Great kick by Parks as it just sneaks in - hitting the post before dropping in. Parks has made a big difference for Scotland who have just made another couple of changes. Hines and Cross on.
    • 66' Richie Gray steals a line-out at midfield and not for the first time today either. Ireland then get charged with hands in the ruck to give away ANOTHER penalty....straight but about 45m out. Dan Parks will take this one.
    • 65' Scotland break though after a great run and off-load from Parks...into the 22 but then Ireland quickly turn it over. A match of missed chances by both teams.
    • 63' Ireland with a 22 after a Parks kick goes just a little too far and past the try line.
    • 62' Game going through a scrappy period not helped by all those replacements.
    • 60' Cronin, Leamy and Stringer all come on for Ireland and Rory Lawson also on for Scotland - both teams change their scrum-halves.
    • 59' Again O'Gara just flips the pressure again as he finds touch in the Scottish 22.
    • 58' (12-21) Paterson does kick too...
    • 58' Nikki Walker looks to knock-on a Reddan kick but the referee says it went backwards. And that is profitable for Scotland as Ireland give away yet another penalty that Paterson should kick.
    • 57' Ireland do win the line-out but there was some Scottish pressure there.
    • 56' First thing Parks has done is to kick into touch inside the Irish 22 – I don't think Jackson did that all game.
    • 54' (9-21) Easy conversion for O'Gara....Scotland have made a couple of changes with Dan Parks on for Jackson.
    • 53' (9-19) IRELAND DO FINALLY SCORE!!! Sean O'Brien and Cian Healy this time find gaps to get Ireland near the line but it is O'Gara who finally gets over the line and he also manages to run under the posts too.
    • 51' Ohhh but Ireland give away another penalty….just five metres from the Scottish line. Penalties could kill Ireland today.
    • 51 ANOTHER run from O'Brien - he is tackled just five metres short after stumbling a bit but manages to recycle.
    • 50' Great run from Sean O'Brien into the Scottish 22 after a big catch again from Fitzgerald but Scotland again manage to turn it over and clear but here come the Irish again
    • 48' Keith Earls turns defence into attack from deep inside his own 22. He beats a couple of men and then fires a good kick into touch in the Scottish half. He gets a bang for his troubles too.
    • 47' Cian Healy charged ruining the next scrum and Scotland get a penalty.
    • 46' Reddan finds another gap inside the 22 and then feeds Sean O'Brien but the pass is forward!
    • 45' Allan Jacobsen is charged with turning around the scrum and he is binned too! Scotland down to 14 for 10mins.
    • 44' Richie Gray manages to steal the line-out....and moments like that make you wonder why Scotland are not kicking to touch more often?
    • 43' And Ireland get the penalty as Scotland are charged with "hitting low and running round" O'Gara kicks to touch at the Scottish 22.
    • 42' More problems with the scrum - this is getting tiresome.
    • 42' Both teams get turnovers early in the half. Ireland have a put-in just inside their own half.
    • 41' O'Gara gets us back underway....
    • HT Ireland make a late attack and for a moment it looks like Keith Earls might be able to sneak into the corner but Sean Lamont makes a key tackle – rolls him out of touch – and that's the end of the half.
    • 39' That kick though drifts just wide.
    • 38' Ireland now win a penalty right in the middle of the pitch as Allan Jacobsen fails to roll away. O'Gara is going to have a go.
    • 36' Another clever kick from O'Gara into the Scottish 22 and touch. His positional kicking has been superb today.
    • 35' All Ireland good work is undone though as O'Gara is caught hanging on after being tackled just five metres out. Penalty for Scotland.
    • 34' Over 10 phases now and Ireland inside the 22.
    • 33' Some soft hands from Ireland has seen them move into Irish territory
    • 32' (9-14) No problem again from Paterson and he puts Scotland back to within a try.
    • 31' Ireland then again give away a cheap penalty in a kickable area – Rory Best keep his hands in at the ball after making a tackle. It is straight again just inside the 10m line.
    • 29' (6-14) Another gimmie for O'Gara - and that whole try was a bit of a gift from Scotland...poor line-out and poor defence on the line.
    • 29' (6-12) Ireland drive on – a penalty is called but Heaslip bursts out with the advantage called – Scotland can't wrap him up and he feeds Reddan who can sneak under the posts.
    • 27' Messy long line-out from Scotland and Blair is forced to go down on it behind the line – five metre scrum for the Irish.
    • 26' Ireland turn it over and Reddan runs into a gap that takes him to midfield. And then from the recycle O'Gara delivers a fine kick to touch deep into the Scottish 22.
    • 25' Ireland clear the first wave but here come Scotland again helped by a burst from Paterson.
    • 24' ANOTHER poor bind and he gives Scotland the penalty.....
    • 24' And a FOURTH goes down....the referee changes sides to see if he can see who is to blame.
    • 23' Three scrums break down in a row - referee has some words.
    • 21' Scotland have a put-in at midfield after Heaslip just couldn't hang onto a low pass.
    • 20' JUST wide from O'Gara though as Scotland get away with one.
    • 19' Moray Low goes and does exactly what Heaslip did moments earlier and O'Gara has a chance now from just beyond the 40m line although to the left.
    • 18' (6-7) Two from two for Paterson - and Scotland are right back into this.
    • 18' And then Heaslip penalised for pulling on the scrum-half from 42m out and straight – another chance for Paterson.
    • 17' Wild pass from Barclay to Jackson but the fly-half hangs on and then Scotland earn a penalty at their own 22.
    • 16' (3-7) Sneaks inside the post from Paterson – looked like it might go wide at one stage but Scotland are finally on the board.
    • 15' And the Scots force the Irish offside and this should be a better chance for Scotland to get points on the board. From the right side of the 22 and as it is a little closer Paterson will take this one.
    • 14' Scotland have had a few phases of possession and have moved to the Irish 22 now.
    • 14' Luke Fitzgerald does very well to hang onto a ball while being hit and retains possession just outside his own 22 – Ireland manage to clear.
    • 13' Richie Gray steals the line-out though to the delight of the Scotland fans....
    • 12' Ireland turnover again though – another clever positional kick from O'Gara and Ireland can some ground and a line-out after a poorer kick from Nikki Walker.
    • 10' Despite some pressure on the scrum Reddan does clear but Scotland can attack again from midfield.
    • 9' John Barclay wins the ball clean from the line-out but Ross Ford's throw was nowhere near safe and Ireland have a scrum.
    • 8' Scotland have a line-out at the Irish 22 after a penalty at midfield. Can they respond quickly.
    • 7' (0-7) Easy conversion from O'Gara - perfect start for Ireland.
    • 7' (0-5) AND IRELAND HAVE THE TRY….Scotland never really looked solid in defence a clever pass from Rory Best to Jamie Heaslip and he is in under the posts.
    • 6' The line-out is won…Ireland driving.
    • 6' Clever little flick by O'Gara and Paterson can't deal with it under pressure and Ireland have a line-out just five yards out.
    • 5' Ireland now have a put in, in the Scottish half – after Blair knocked on the flick down from the line-out.
    • 4' The ball pops loose though and Bowe is able to kick into touch in the Scottish half.
    • 3' Scotland back on the attack again now though and driving towards the 22.
    • 2' Jackson didn't have the distance and was also a little wide so it stays 0-0.
    • 2' Scotland with an up and under and then Ireland find themselves offside. Scotland with a penalty just inside the Irish half a little to the right – Jackson will go for goal.
    • 1' Ireland gather and kick the ball back into Scottish territory.
    • 1' And Scotland get us underway....
    • 14:55 Here come the Irish – backed by a big away support in Edinburgh today. And they are followed by the Scottish.
    • 14:50 Keep your thoughts coming throughout the game. Peter has got us started with "It should come as no surprise that the Irish have drafted in O'Gara because they expect Scotland to give away a lot of penalties. Scotland couldnt beat a pack of Brownies at the minute." Meoowww!
    • 14:45 Ruaridh Jackson makes his first start for Scotland today. He does have three caps though and made his debut against the All Blacks off the bench last November.
    • 14:40 Scotland's win in Dublin last year brought to an end a run of eight successive Six Nations defeats to Ireland but Ireland have still won the last four Six Nations meetings at Murrayfield.
    • 14:35 Brian O'Driscoll insists Ireland are benefiting from the competition for places at half-back as they arrive with a new half-back pairing of Ronan O'Gara and Eoin Reddan. O'Driscoll: Competition good for us
