    • - Right one more match to go. Can England stop the French from winning the Grand Slam?
    • - No surprise on the Man of the Match. Dan Parks will be the toast of Scotland tonight.
    • 80 It is all over! Scotland get the win and will not finish with the wooden spoon.
    • 79 23-20 to Scotland. Woof! What a kick from Parks! The ball was almost on the touch line and he nailed it straight through. As soon as he hit it his hands punched the air, and rightly so.
    • 78 Parks sends a high kick deep into Irish territory which Kearney hauls in but is reluctant to kick it clear on his right foot. De Luca and and Barclay quickly close him down and the penalty goes Scotland's way. Parks with a chance to surely give his team the victory...
    • 75 20 all. O'Gara sends it through the middle and things are even once more.
    • 74 Scotland collapse the scrum and Ronan O'Gara will have the chance to even things up from the tee.
    • 73 20-17 to Scotland. Parks sends it through! Scotland lead with seven minutes remaining.
    • 72 Ireland are penalised for not rolling away and knowing that the penalty is in the bank Parks squibs a kick at goal. He will instead have a pop from the tee around 25 metres out.
    • 70 Mike Blair evades and escapes four tackles as he breaks into the Irish half.
    • 68 Ireland get in a good position on the Scottish 22 but Rory Best's throw at the line out is a little wonky. He is getting rugby version of the yips.
    • 66 Interesting one that try. The try was immediately given but it could well have been over turned had it gone to the video ref - Bowe didn't look to have too much control of the ball as he touched the ball down.
    • 64 17 all. O'Gara finds D'Arcy who draws defenders toward him before offloading to Tommy Bowe who bursts through the first tackle and drags the second tackle over the line with him. It is all square at Croke Park.
    • 61 Kelly Brown is off once more for blood replacement. That is the third time he has gone off.
    • 59 Oooh, unlucky. The ball falls just short.
    • 58 Scotland get a penalty and Parks will have a go from the half way line.
    • 55 Oh so close from Ireland. Bowe bursts through a gap and then they find D'Arcy who gets down to around five metres out. Scotland's forwards then pile in and turn the ball over. Ireland look reinvigorated.
    • 51 And that is Sexton's last piece of action of the day. He has been replaced by Ronan O'Gara.
    • 50 17-10 to Scotland. Sexton just about puts it through.
    • 49 "Heave!" cries Croke Park as Ireland progress their rolling maul around 20 metres. Scotland are penalised for offside and a penalty is given to Ireland - can Sexton finally put one through the uprights?
    • 47 17-7 to Scotland. Parks squeezes it just inside the upright and Scotland's lead is now 10.
    • 46 Sean Lamont breaks through the Irish defence and a penalty is called against the home team for not rolling away. Parks immediately points at the posts for an attempt around 45 metres out...
    • 43 Scotland are offisde at the ruck and Sexton opts for a penalty attempt on the 22 to the left. He misses once more, this time pulling it left.
    • 42 No substitutions to report. Though Kelly Brown is back on after going off twice for blood replacements in the first half.
    • 41 Sexton kicks off. 40 minutes for Ireland to win that Triple Crown.
    • - Who saw that coming then? Ireland have not played badly, they have just been let down by some handling errors in vital areas. Hats off to Scotland though; Dan Parks has been kicking like dream and Beattie, Barclay and Brown have been very impressive indeed.
    • 40 14-7 to Scotland! Scotland attack into Irish territory and they break well down the left through Morrision. He mishandles the ball but somehow Scotland keep the play alive. The ball is then worked down the centre and played back to Parks who nails a drop goal straight down the middle. Scotland go into the break ahead by seven points.
    • 40 As we tick over into half time Scotland have a scrum on half way. One last attack?
    • 36 11-7 to Scotland. After three re-set scrums, Scotland finally get the ball in play and they win a penalty against Donncha O'Callaghan for not rolling away. Parks knocks the penalty through from 18 metres and they have a four point lead.
    • 33 A lovely phase of play from Scotland. They take it from the left all the way to the right and then back into the centre again. The ball wasn't played particularly quickly, but there were a couple of half breaks and they looked impressive in the contact while creeping forward all the time. The ball pops out but it is knocked on by Ireland and Scotland will have the input at the scrum just inside the 22.
    • 31 And his woes continue as he pushes this one to the right.
    • 30 Sexton - who was awful from the tee last week - has shirked any sights of goal so far, but he is having a pop now. This one is just inside the Scotland half.
    • 29 But Scotland win the lineout and they clear.
    • 28 Sexton's penalty kick falls inside the 22 and Ireland will go to work around 18 metres out.
    • 27 Ireland have had more territory - but they have fewer points.
    • 26 Ireland substitution: Murphy and has been replaced by Kearney.
    • 24 Hugo Southwell hits the ball into the Irish 22, a very useful kick indeed.
    • 22 The Irish win the line out but Tommy Bowe knocks the ball on as they look to attack. They have looked impressive in patches but errors have been slipping into their game.
    • 21 Scotland are penalised for the ball carrier holding on too long and D'Arcy kicks it into touch. Not an impressive kick though and Ireland will have the line out about 30 metres out.
    • 19 Heaslip gathers the ball from the scrum and attacks into Scotland's half.
    • 13 Scotland re take the lead! Morrison attacks down the left and offloads to the onrushiing Jonnie Beattie who has the strength to throw down his left arm over the line to score the try. He was under heavy pressure and was being pulled back by three defenders but had the power and determination to ground the ball over the line. Parks narrowly misses the conversion from the touchline.
    • 11 7-3 to Ireland. Brian O'Driscoll cuts into the inside line and Gordon D'Arcy finds his run in from the right. He gathers the ball in well and touches it down.
    • 10 Lovely play from Ireland. As they cross the half way line they string six passes together in quick succession before Murphy is tackled. Very easy on the eye.
    • 8 Good, promising build up play from Ireland. Earls half breaks clear of his defender and he finds O'Connell who offloads out wide but it is again spilled. Ireland making mistakes, but making chances.
    • 5 3-0 Scotland. Scotland with the penalty and Dan Parks chips it over in front of the posts.
    • 3 Beautiful kick from Dan Parks. Ireland have a line out eight metres from their try line.
    • 1 We are underway, Scotland kick off and Ireland look to go on the attack immediately. They start on the left, go to the right and then back to the left and are very close to breaking through. They could well have scored a try there if Earls could have gathered Bowe's pass - but he knocks it on.
    • - The two teams belt out the national anthems. Even the mascots did themselves proud.
    • - Of course Ireland CAN win the 6 Nations - all it takes is a victory against Scotland, an England win over France in Paris AND a swing of 50 points. Easy right?
    • - The teams are out on the pitch and the band are all set to strike up for the national anthems.
    • - Looking to ruin the St Patricks celebrations in Dublin is Andy Robinson's Scotland who will finish bottom of the pile should they lose today. The wooden spoon could well be heading their way...
    • - Welcome to Six Nations at Croke Park for the final time - not just this season, but ever. Next year the rebuilt Lansdowne Road will be ready and Irish rugby will be heading home. The Irish will be looking to bid farewell to Croke Park with a victory against Scotland today to seal a fifth Triple Crown in seven years.
