    • South Africa
    • 80' Nice burst from Hape but ball is spilled forward and ref blows for full-time. Boks win 21-11 and a reality check for Johnson's evolving side. The Boks were clearly stung by losing to Scotland last week and in truth were just too powerful and experienced for England today. They outmuscled the home side and proved that they will again be a force next year. Two wins from four for England this autumn - not bad but they will need to find answers for similar challenges ahead. Thanks for joining us.
    • 79' Tindall takes quick conversion but his drop kick from in front of posts misses - remarkable miss! Boks still lead 21-11.
    • 79' Wilson tries to offload to Fourie but this time ball is knocked on. Boks try to spread ball wide. Foden intercepts after lovely tackle from Wilson on van der Linde and the full-back runs 70m for consolation try. 21-11.
    • 78' Boks hooker Bismark Du Plessis named man of the match. Fair call.
    • 76' Powerful drive from Thompson but Tindall knocks on as he tries to run from deep. F Steyn again off target fromwith drop goal and Foden runs from deep. Wilson makes break and is well supported by Fourie and England carry play deep into Boks half. Care takes quick tap and England have overlap but Palmer unable to give and take the pass and try goes begging!!!!!! Frustrating for England.
    • 74' Banahan on for Ashton - not sure why. Surely he should be on for Tindall. Thompson on for Hartley.
    • 73' England win restart and look to spread ball. But pass goes to ground and Boks hack downfield, allowing Alberts to dump a bloodied Cueto.
    • 71' Steyn adds the extras and Boks lead 21-6. England playing for pride now!
    • 70' Steyn back in the pocket after Boks lineout and drive. But ball is switched to left wing and Mvovo breaks two weak tackles and goes over for Boks second try! 19-6 to Boks.
    • 68' Nice counter rucking by England and Hodgson kicks cross field. Ashton catches Mvovo in possession but England penalised for going over the top - looked a tad harsh!
    • 68' Double change for England: Wilson on for Cole and Shaw for Lawes.
    • 68' Lovely work again from Cueto as he links up with Fourie. Lawes continues attack but Boks steal possession and England forced to kick for touch.
    • 66' Cueto catches cross field kick but he's on his own. England retain possession and continue to attack. They need a moment of magic from someone and Tindall gets to within inches of Boks line. Strong drive by Hartley but Moody then puts foot into touch and attack comes to an end.
    • 63' England handed free kick from scrum in Boks 22 and opt for another put in. England must get something from this attack!
    • 62' Care on for Youngs. Tough afternoon today for the Leicester scrum-half. Can Care up the tempo?
    • 60' No conversion from Steyn but England will need to find something special if they are going to get back into this game! Spies makes mess of restart and hands England good attacking position. Foden goes wide but is hauled down.
    • 59' Mtawarira stopped short but Boks retain ball and continue to batter England defence. Surely a matter of time before they score and the try comes as Spies puts Alberts over in the corner. 14-6 to Boks and the replacement flanker gets his second try of the Boks tour.
    • 58' England lose scrum against the head and Boks keep pressure on England. M Styen sends grubber into England 22 and Cueto forced into touch. Another attacking lineout for Boks in England 22.
    • 56' Good power from Sheridan and England try to spread ball. De Villiers up quickly but knocks on while trying to intercept.
    • 55' Ashton knocks on high ball and F Steyn kicks up field but Foden back to touch down for England 22. England drop out and F Steyn tries long drop at goal which comes up short.
    • 53' Van der Linde on for du Plessis at prop.
    • 53' Youngs not having a good day as several passes go astray. England manage to force turnover and the scrum-half this time finds a good touch on Boks 22.
    • 50' Youngs fails to use ball quickly enough and Boks handed put in after scrum wheel. Everything going Boks way here, though they then concede free kick for feeding - that's the second against Pienaar now. Amazing!

    • 48' England make mess of lineout and Lawes forced to rush back to clear up Pieanaar kick. Boks on the front foot with lineout on England's 22. Amazing cover by Lawes - no way Borthwick would ever have got back like that!

    • 41' M Steyn kicks off for second half. England face a huge test of character and need to match physicality of the Boks.
    • 40' 70 per cent possession to the Boks in the first half and England's pack very much second best. Johnson's side face a huge task in the second half - for the first time this autumn they are being out-muscled, out-played and out-thought. What can they do after the break to stem the tide?
    • 40' Hartley handles in ruck and another penalty to Boks - that's eight to four now - and M Styen kicks down to England 22. Du Plessis drives at England midfield, M Steyn drops back into pocket but his drop at goal is off target. Ref blows for half-time and somehow England have held on to go in level at 6-6.

    • 35' Boks win throw and launch drive towards England line. Palmer offside and ref warns Moody. M Steyn has another chance to level the scores. How England are still ahead is remarkable since they have been under the cosh for last 20 minutes.
    • 35' Great kick from Pienaar and Cueto forced into touch 5m from England line. More pressure on England!
    • 34' Flood is still not right and is replaced by Hodgson. Big moment for the Sale half-back!

    • 26' Lawes penalised for going off his feet and Boks find touch on England 22 to keep the pressure on. England defence good and Youngs releases Cueto after turnover, but F Styen back to scrag him into touch.
    • 25' Shock horror as M Steyn's kick on goal shaves the post. England retain their narrow lead.
    • 24' England offside and Boks have another chance on goal from out wide. England taking a bit of a pounding here and only splendid defence stopped the Boks going over!
    • 22' Croft in the wars now with an arm injury and Fourie is on for the Leicester flanker, with Moody switching to blindside.
    • 22' Mvovo stopped out wide but Boks retain possession before England concede penalty. Boks take quick tap, but Matfield drops pass and England get out of jail again. Not the best passage of play for the Boks skipper, who butchers one chance before knocking on.
    • 21' Boks pick and drive as they inch their way closer to England line. Du Plessis stopped shot, Matfield looks certain to score but Youngs produces amazing piece of defence to prevent the veteran lock touching down. • - Despite the wintery snap that has engulfed much of the UK for the last few days, conditions are surprisingly good at Twickenham. It's very cold and overcast, but thankfully it remains dry.
    • - After narrow wins over Ireland and Wales, the Springboks were surprinsgly beaten by Scotland last week and will not want to lose two on the bounce. But an evolving England team have been in impressive form this month, and will start as slight favourites.

    • - Victor Matfield skippers South Africa and packs down in the second row alongside long-term partner Bakkies Botha. England will also know they have to stop a powerful Boks back row of Pierre Spies, Juan Smith and Deaon Stegman.
    • - South Africa are missing several key players - not least skipper John Smit, Schalk Burger and Bryan Habana - but they are still a formidable outfit. They may not have been at their best this year but the Springboks are never an easy side to beat and England will have to be at their very best if they are to snap a run of six consecutive losses to South Africa.
    • - Dan Cole is also back at tighthead in place of David Wilson while veteran Mike Tindall takes over from Matt Banahan at outside centre. Fourie, Wilson and Banahan drop down to the bench where they are joined by another veteran in the form of lock Simon Shaw.
    • - Johnson has made four changes to the side that beat Samoa last week and reverts to his strongest line-up, the one that so impressed while thumping Australia seven days earlier. Skipper Lewis Moody returns on the openside for Hendre Fourie, while also in the back-row Tom Croft takes over from James Haskell.
