    • - Hope you enjoyed that one - and remember we'll also be bringing you Scotland-New Zealand updates - that one kicks off at 17:00.
    • 83' FULL-TIME: Enthralling game of rugby, but it ends in familiar style. Wales are beaten but played well for large parts, while South Africa took a long time to get into their stride but once they did had just enough to take the win.
    • 83' The ball is still alive in the 14th phase... but there's a South African boot to get the ball out of play!
    • 82' Wales going backwards to the 22 but will the gap open up? Czekaj very close to going out on the left...
    • 81' North tries to surge through but there's no space past the green shirts, Wales look again - Martyn Williams threatens to break but no - then North is clattered by diminutive Aplon but still Wales have the ball...
    • 80' The move breaks down but Wales had an advantage - away they go once again.
    • 80' Rees and Hook run quickly and are within ten metres - the pressure keeps coming - how will this end?
    • 80' Penalty for Wales but that's not enough - they have to run it.
    • 79' Shanklin driven backwards by a mighty drive, and then the ball is turned over. Chance gone - was it the last one?
    • 78' Short lineout and Wales are driving off the backfoot, but they are still close to the try line.
    • 77' SPACE FOR WALES! NO! A poor choice from Shankin - two on one and he kicks - he's lucky that Lambie gives away a lineout.
    • 76' Great hands from Wales as they snake left into the Springbok half. The crowd are doing their best to encourage.
    • 75' Yapp punished in the scrum - CJ van der Linde comes on to replace Jannie Du Plessis.
    • 75' Time running out here if the Wales want to come back but they can pressure a South Africa scrum in their own half.
    • 74' Wales are charging forward but Hook loses the ball as they near the 22 - a good hit from van der Merwe.
    • 73' D L Jones on for A W Jones - Ralapelle on for Bismarck Du Plessis for South Africa.
    • 73' This scrum doesn't look much different from the others, but away we go. And out of play - time for another sub.
    • 72' Problems at scrum time - Wales with the put-in but Walsh unhappy.
    • 71' Wales changes: Bennett on for M Rees, Yapp replaces James.
    • 71' Mtawarira comes out with the ball at the maul and gains a few yards, but Jean de Villiers makes an error to kill the move.
    • 70' Wales replace Phillips with Richie Rees at scrum-half.
    • 69' SHANKLIN! He breaks the line but he's tackled just in time - Wales try again further on the right hand side but the little grubber kick for North will come to nothing as the wing is offside.
    • 68' 10 phases of Wales possession and counting, will it open up for the patient hosts?
    • 67' Ryan Jones drives forward and Wales sweep right then left looking for an opening.
    • 66' Alberts drives forward for South Africa and he has been very effective since his introduction - Wales clear to halfway for now.
    • 65' That was Morne's last action in the match - he is replaced by Lambie.
    • 64' 25-29 - the Wales fans haven't much liked any of Walsh's decisions today, but it's no issue for Steyn, who kicks over once again.
    • 63' Springboks swarming - Francois Steyn goes close on the left but is driven back, then just as it looks like Habana has knocked on the whistle blows for an earlier offside.
    • 62' South Africa have a scrum just inside the Wales half - referee Walsh warns Paul James not to hinge.
    • 61' De Villiers held up by a combination of Rees and Stephen Jones but despite Welsh appeals for a knock-on Francois Steyn kicks for precious yards.
    • 60' More changes - Hougaard for Pienaar at scrum-half, and for Wales former captain Ryan Jones comes on for Powell.
    • 60' South Africa change - Van der Merwe replaces Bakkies Botha.
    • 59' 18 phases in, and Phillips pops a forward pass to Byrne. Unforced error, and it kills the Welsh momentum.
    • 58' Great charge forward from Bradley dDavies as he gains valuable metres near the Springboks 22 - Wales throw the ball left and keep on going through the phases.
    • 57' 25-26 - Jones' kick misses by just a whisker and for now the South Africans still lead - but this has been a pulsating spell of play.
    • 56' TRY! MAGIC FROM NORTH! What a response! Jones floats a high kick to the corner where North is waiting - and he shows all the composure one could hope for to finish in the corner. Where did that come from?
    • 55' 20-26 - Morne Steyn scores. For the first time since five minutes in the Springboks lead and the game has changed completely.
    • 54' Seventh try for Matfield on his record-breaking 103rd appearance.
    • 53' TRY! More South Africa danger - and a try! Matfield is there on the right, shapes to pass, cuts inside and powers over for another score.
    • 52' 20-19 - It's tight to the corner, but a superb kick from Steyn brings the difference down to a single point.
    • 51' TRY! It was coming - and it's the sub Willem Alberts who gets over the line! He's on debut - and he's seen even less international action than North, but he too is on the scoresheet!
    • 50' Bradley Davies penalised for attempting to collapse the maul - South Africa kick to the corner sensing that the tide could be turning.
    • 49' Bradley Davies holds on manfully to Morne Steyn - the Boks spin right and should score when de Villirs plays the ball into Basson - but he slips and knocks on! Good chance goes by!
    • 48' Adam Jones has to make a big tackle as Jean de Villiers breaks, but South Africa are still driving forward. Time for the Wales forwards to step up once more.
    • 47' Boks change - Stegmann off, Alberts on.
    • 46' 20-12 - The lead is cut back to eight points by Steyn - Tom Shanklin returns to the field after his injury wearing a scrum cap.
    • 45' Lee Byrne gives away a penalty on opposite number Aplon - it's a kick for Morne Steyn.
    • 44' South Africa now in possession in the Wales half. Spies, the powerhouse at 8, tries to bundle through red shirts as teh Boks go through the phases.
    • 43' Pictures of Shane Williams on the bench with his arm in a sling - that will be one concern for Wales on a promising afternoon - UPDATE - the Welsh medics apparently say it's a shoulder problem.
    • 43' 20-9 - Success for Jones - Wales still in control.
    • 42' Wales have come out with purpose and drive and they win a penalty on the 22 in front of the posts when hooker Du Plessis doesn't roll away from the tackle.
    • 41' Great imagination from the forwards! A pass from Powell and a chip from Martyn Williams nearly yields the third try, but Aplon cleans up in time.
    • 40' The second half begins!
    • - Wales change: Czekaj replaces Shane Williams.
    • - HALF-TIME: Great Wales attacking play, disappointing Springboks - the kicking of Morne Steyn has kept the visitors in the game but Wales are on course to record only their second ever win against the South Africans. Join us in a moment for the second half.
    • 42' 17-9 and that will be half-time: Morne Steyn swings the ball through the middle of the posts in the final action of the half.
    • 41' Aplon floored just short of the line and the visitors have a penalty - but might they take their advantage? It looks almost certain as Aplon and Habana work down the left - but no, it doesn't come. We come back for the penalty and Steyn will kick.
    • 40' North knocks on after a chipped ball - lucky for the Boks who had run out of ideas on that move.still a chance for the visitors.
    • 40' Springboks push forward at the end of the half - Botha tackled crucially by Powell but the men in green still have the ball deep in the corner.
    • 39' Shane Williams is down with a wrist problem - while Tom Shanklin has collided into team-mate Andy Powell and blood is streaming from his head, but he's able to walk off without any trouble.
    • 39' Bismarck du Plessis hauled out of touch - we have a pause here for Wales injuries.
    • 38' Basson knocks on but advantage is played as the Welsh pick up the ball. Long heave forward from Byrne goes nowhere.
    • 37' "Standing up, walking around" says referee Walsh as the Springboks are awarded a penalty at the scrum. They clear towards halfway.
    • 36' South Africa must look to damage limitation here as Wales press, and trust that they cannot be so off-colour again in the second half.
    • 35' Phillips almost slips through a gap beside the breakdown, but not quite to be - Wales in their eighth phase and try a crossfield kick through Stephen Jones but Shanklin knocks on.
    • 34' Powell well under a high kick from Pienaar and offloads to Shane Williams as Wales press again.
    • 33' Alun Wyn Jones just piles Matfield backwards in a battle of the locks - another heartening sign for the Welsh as they gain ground. South African lineout in their own 22.
    • 32' Nothing really firing for the Springboks, but Spies gets away with the ball from this scrum. Once again the ball ends up back in Welsh hands.
    • 31' Rees is down for a moment with an injury - when we resume it will be a SA scrum.
    • 30' Hook breaks the line - only to be called back - the pop pass from Jones at fly-half was just forward.
    • 29' Ragged - a knock-on from South Africa and it's a scrum for Wales at halfway.
    • 28' 17-6 - It's a straight one from just under 40m, and it's no problem for Stephen Jones.
    • 27' Shanklin is clattered to the ground by three men in green, and once over the advantage line the Welsh pick up a penalty for the tackler not releasing.
    • 26' A cheeky kick from Stephen Jones as Wales opt for a creative approach but Habana does a good job of tidying up. There's a bit of trouble as prop Du Plessis pops up at scrum-half, but South Africa get away with that one.
    • 25' Wales win a lineout and Matthew Rees does well to gain precious metres to go past halfway.
    • 24' Close - Hook's kick had the distance, but it sails a couple of metres wide of the right hand side.
    • 23' Penalty given to Wales after a scrap at the breakdown. This is kickable, but it's 52m out. James Hook lines it up.
    • 22' Phillips gets Wales in their way - Botha brings down North but still Wales on the attack.
    • 21' Pienaar puts the ball in, but South Africa are penalised here.
    • 20' Wales suddenly look as if they have the same sort of overlap which led to the second try - but Lee Byrne knocks on and that stops them in their tracks. South Africa scrum on halfway.
    • 19' That's much more like it - a delightful kick from Morne Steyn from the right hand side, and they stop a run of 14 unanswered Wales points.
    • 18' Basson takes a sensational catch on the high ball to get South Africa moving and Andy Powell is subsequently penalised for tackling when off his feet. Penalty chance for the Boks.
    • 17' 14-3 - Over goes the conversion - Wales playing well, and taking their chances!
    • 16' TRY! What a move! It began with North surging down the right - suddenly Wales had an overlap on the left hand side - with the pace of Shane Williams there was no fighting it, and his pass released Hook to score by the posts!
    • 16' Another battle at the scrum but South Africa hold on abnd kick upfield. There's space for Wales though...
    • 15' A look at the try again - Tom Shanklin is the man South Africa accuse of crossing - he certainly made it difficult for two Boks backliners to get anywhere near North.
    • 14' South Africa having 75% of the territory so far in this one - but Wales have made their attacks count.
    • 13' Morne's ball to Smith looks a little forward, but the Boks still have the ball and they are pressuring the Welsh defence here - but Jean De Villiers is penalised for not releasing after tackling.
    • 12' Narrowly wide from Steyn - a rare miss. Matfield and referee Walsh have a discussion - too many offsides so far, the referee says.
    • 11' The mighty South Africa forwards are working the ball left and Rees is offside as he grabs the loose ball. Morne Steyn will line up a kick to keep SA in touch.
    • 10' Great drive forward from Wales and Jonathan Thomas looks to break away. He cannot quite, and it falls to Phillips to hit an up-and-under.
    • 9' The scrum goes to ground - twice - we'll try again.
    • 8' Knock-on just as the South Africans threaten in the last five metres - scrum for Wales. A bit of a let-off for the hosts.
    • 7' South Africa's time to fight back, surging towards the left hand corner with pacy winger Gio Aplon.
    • 6' 7-3! Backed up by a kick from Jones to convert, Wales are right back into this game. South African protests suggest they feel there was a player crossing in the build-up but it falls on deaf ears.
    • 6' TRY! GEORGE NORTH! What a start to his international career! Wales win the lineout - spin to the left and there's nobody on hand to stop North from scoring his first try!
    • 5' South Africa penalised for joining in front of the back foot and a good kick from Jones takes Wales to the corner. Good response from the hosts.
    • 4' Welcome to Test rugby, George North - he's held up by Habana and F Steyn but Wales keep the ball moving.
    • 3' Beast is offside and Wales take a quick penalty, surging up the right hand side.
    • 2' 0-3! Over it goes from Steyn - regulation kick and the visitors lead.
    • 1' South Africa start brightly, winning a penalty after a run from Jean de Villiers who links with Francois Steyn. Looks straightforward for Bulls kicker Morne Steyn.
    • 1' The referee today is Steve Walsh. He blows the whistle to start us off!
    • 14:30 And after an impassioned Welsh anthem, soldiers lay wreaths, the band clears, and we're very nearly ready to begin.
    • 14:28 The South African flags fly as the national anthem plays. Despite the injuries which have blighted their tour, make no mistake - they remain a strong side.
    • 14:26 The roof is closed this weekend for the game - Wales chose to leave it open against Australia.
    • 14:24 The players are on the field and we'll hear the Last Post played as part of the Remembrance weekend.
    • 14:22 For Wales James Hook is back to centre and Lee Byrne has recovered from injury to take the field at fullback.
    • 14:20 For South Africa, the colossal Victor Matfield is set to break the cap record for the Springboks with his 103rd cap. More about that here.
    • 14:20 Wales have lost eight of their last ten games. But there were signs of progress in their last fixture against Australia - and they'll have a good chance against a South Africa side who only narrowly squeaked past Ireland at the weekend.
    • 14:15 Wales do not have a very encouraging head-to-head record against South Africa - played 24, lost 22, drawn one, won one.
    • 14:10 Plenty of eyes will be on Wales' wing George North today. The 18-year-old is quick, strong, and has been picked out for greatness. More on George North here.
    • 14:05 A couple of important pieces of team news for you: Wales have made late changes from the named fifteen. Andy Powell replaces Dan Lydiate and Paul James comes in for Gethin Jenkins. More here.
