    • FT Devastating for Wales as Australia wrap up the series 2-0 with the final Test still to come in Sydney next week
    • 80+2 In fairness to Harris, that was a tricky kick from right on the left touchline and Australia have snatched the win after the buzzer!
    • 80+2 PENALTY AUSTRALIA! 25-23! MICHAEL HARRIS WINS IT FOR AUSTRALIA! The Queensland Reds player kicked 22 in a row before missing just the one and then kicking another 15 in a row this season and he has just broken Welsh hearts
    • 80+1 Australia collect the line-out as the hooter goes ... on the 22 m line ... penalty Australia after Hibbard joins the driving maul from the side
    • 80' Priestland clears and it's with Adam Ashley-Cooper again. Penalty Australia just inside their own half ... Ashley-Cooper kicks for territory with 30 seconds remaining on the clock ...
    • 79' It's another knock-on by Australia and Wales have the ball. It's with Bradley Davies on the half-way line .... Jonathan Davies ... the ball goes loose but Wales are playing advantage. Less than two minutes remaining now ...
    • 78' It's knocked forward in the air by the Wallabies and Wales collect to clear ... Adam Ashley-Cooper collects in touch and re-starts the Aussie attack ...
    • 77' Ioane is away .... he makes 20 metres up towards the Welsh try line before being brought down. Australia retain possession though. Over the 22m with Anthony Fainga'a ... Sharpe ... Ben Alexander ...
    • 75' Five minutes left on the clock! Wales are looking for only their second ever win on Australian soil ...
    • 73' Barnes has missed it! Wales still lead by a point! Barnes is straight off - he didn't even break stride as he limped towards the bench.
    • 72' Gethin Jenkins are penalised at the scrum, for pulling it down, after a series of re-set scrums ... It's right in front of the posts and Barnes will step up again ...
    • 70' Just 10 minutes remaining now with Wales leading by a point. Can they hold on this week? Remember they trailed by just the one point last week before Australia enjoyed a stronger final 15 minutes
    • 67' PENALTY WALES! 22-23! Anyone care to have a guess which way this is going to shake out? Wales earn themselves another penalty at the scrum and Halfpenney drills the ball straight through the centre of the posts from the half-way line once again
    • 65' PENALTY AUSTRALIA! 22-20! Barnes appears to be recovering from that injury as he steps up and kicks another penalty when Bradley Davies is playing the ball off his feet
    • 62' Barnes appears to have twinged something with the re-start kick but so far he's continuing on ... he looks in a little discomfort though
    • 61' PENALTY WALES! 19-20! A monster kick from Halfpenney, who is showing no ill-effect from that challenge, and he thumps the ball between the posts from inside his own half. There are 20 minutes remaining and Wales lead by one point again
    • 61' Ouch! Cooper Vuna picks up Leigh Halfpenney and dumps him on his head. The ref is quick to stop the game and Vuna is off. He's a little lucky not to be shown a straight red for that, it was a shocking challenge
    • 59' PENALTY AUSTRALA! 19-17! Genia thinks about taking the quick tap-and-go but instead gives it to Barnes, who easily puts the ball between the posts from right out in front
    • 57' Genia to Ioane ... Cooper Vuna ... Australia recycle ... Barnes goes for the wrong decision in the inside line ... Genia ... Sharpe ... McCabe ... Simmons ... Wales offside, there's a penalty looming ... Genia ... Barnes ... Ashley-Cooper but it's a poor pass and they will finall come back for the penalty
    • 56' Genia darts through the Welsh line inside the 22 but he is just brought down before fully getting away. That was a try-saving tackle, if Genia had got through that he would have been away
    • 54' Much like in the first half, this half is mainly being played in the middle third of the pitch and it has just descended into a scrappy game at the moment. Australia have the scrum on the halfway line
    • 49' PENALTY WALES! 16-17! Breathless stuff as Halfpenney retains his perfect record on this tour, slotting another three-pointer after the Wallabies are caught infringing at the ruck
    • 47' PENALTY AUSTRALIA! 16-14! Well, that was short-lived as Wales are penalised at the breakdown, North holding on to the ball on the ground at the ruck, and Barnes puts Australia marginally back out in front
    • 45' CONVERSION WALES! 13-14! Another solid kick from Halfpenney just to the right of the posts adds the extra two points and Wales sneak point back out in front!
    • 44' TRY WALES! 13-12! A mistake from Genia as he fails to find Ioane and the loose ball is punted up by Beck, who sets off in chase. He is muscled off the ball but Jonathan Davies is also in chase and after another toe-poke from the Welshman, he collects the ball as it bounces up and dives over the line
    • 43' Ioane tries to find a way through on the left wing but is bundled out into touch ...
    • 41' Barnes gets the second half underway for Australia ...
    • - The latest info on that Kurtley Beale story is that he is going to be charged with assault following an alleged scuffle with a bouncer in Queensland about 10 days ago. No word yet on whether Quade Cooper, who was with him at the time, will also be charged. Beale charged with assault for bar fight
    • HT A breathtaking half comes to an end with things still incredibly close. Both teams have shown a lot of promise but for the most part have struggled to get out of the middle third
    • 40' CONVERSION AUSTRALIA! 13-7! Barnes adds the extras with the last kick of the half to give six point advantage heading into the interval
    • 39' TRY AUSTRALIA! 11-7! Absolutely fantastic dummy from Barnes after he had received a sweeping pass from Genia. Barnes breaks through the Welsh line on the angle before finding Rob Horne on the outsideo of him and it's an easy run-in for the centre
    • 38' There's a bit of a scuffle between Higginnbotham and North after they bundle each other into touch on the half-way line
    • 37' Penalty Australia! Just as Wales are looking to make the most of that tackle, they are pushed back before conceding the penalty that will allow Australia to clear
    • 36' Mike Phillips breaks for Wales ... he makes it into Australia territory and has Rhys Priestland inside him. Priestland bounces off Adam Ashley-Cooper's tackle and securing the next phase of play ...
    • 34' Genia races away before finding Ioane on the left touch-line. He is brought down, getting the ball back to Genia, but he already just had one foot in touch and it will be a Welsh line-out just a little more than 5m out
    • 33' It's all Australia at the moment as they take the ball through 15 phases with Pocock diving on the loose ball after a poor pass from Palu ... Ioane ... Genia to Pocock ... Australia on the Welsh 22 ...
    • 30' PENALTY AUSTRALIA! 6-7! Barnes pegs Wales back to just one point in front with a cracking kick from out near the right wing.
    • 29' Polota-Nau drives the ball through the Welsh line and up to the 10m line. Australia beginning to show some real attacking nouse in the last couple of minutes ... and Australia earn themselves a penalty when Wales fail to roll away
    • 27' Dan Lydiate is put on a warning by the ref after charging into the ruck shoulder first and putting in a pretty big hit with Pocock. No penalty, just a scrum but he needs to be careful if he is to avoid being sent to the sin bin
    • 26' Halfpenney does brilliantly well under a high ball from Priestland under pressure from a couple of Australian backs
    • 24' Higginbotham is penalised for a late tackle and Wales once again get the chance to clear back out of their own half. Much of this match is being played in the middle third of the pitch at the moment
    • 23' Warburton has got gingerly back to his feet as Rob Horne breaks through and back into Welsh territory, taking the bal up to the 22m line
    • 23' Australia are penalised for off-side and Australia get a chance to clear back into the Wallabies half having been out of possession for some time
    • 22' Sam Warburton is down in the middle of the field and looks to be in some discomfort. He's on his side and is not moving much as he is attended to by the physio
    • 21' PENALTY AUSTRALIA! 3-7! Relatively straightforward for Barnes from right in front of the posts, albeit a fair way back towards the half-way line. But he has the distance and the Wallabies are on the scoreboard
    • 20' Wales conced a penalty as Gethin Jenkins is penalised for playing the ball on his feet ... Barnes will make his first kick at the posts ...
    • 17' Very evenly matched in the middle of the park at the moment as Australia retain possession but fail to make any real ground as Wales are so quick into the tackle
    • 15' Genia, Pocock, Genia ... Wales are on the game line incredibly quickly for the tackle ... Barnes looking for a hole on the right wing but is hauled down and into touch by Jonathan Davies
    • 13' Phillips comfortably collects the ball in his own try area after Genia had put just a touch too much on his grubber kick for Ioane to chase
    • 12' Genia with the switch pass to Barnes ... Ioane shrugs up a couple of tackles, literally shrugs them off, Australia in the Wales half now. Genia finds Barnes, who kicks upfield again ... and just, just finds touch. Welsh defensive line-out
    • 10' Cuthbert becomes the latest Welsh player to have a go at the Aussie defence, running at them down the right wing after a great cross-field kick from Priestland
    • 8' Bradley Davies turs the ball over from Palu and Mike Phillips sees that Australia are all moving forward in attack before sending the ball over all of them and up to the Australian 22 and into touch
    • 6' Great first break from Ioane as he gets into the Welsh 22 but Australia are penalised for not releasing the ball shortly after and Priestland thumps upfield with a stunning kick to put the pressure right back on the Wallabies
    • 4' CONVERSION WALES! 0-7! Leigh Halfpenney has little trouble in adding the extra couple of points, his kick from right in front of the posts sailing in between the uprights
    • 4' TRY WALES! 0-5! What a start from the Welsh as George North ducks underneath the tackles of Wycliff Palu and Rob Simmons and dives over the line. Fantastic from Wales, who have started this match at an incredible tempo, they took that through eight phases to get over the line
    • 2' Barnes, who flew to Sydney and back yesterday to be present at the birth of his first child, puts his first kick out on the full. Not a great start for the Aussie but this stadium is tricky to get your bearings in, being designed for Aussie rules and therefore having its rugby sidelines so far away from the stands
    • 1' Wales get the clash underway through the boot of Rhys Priestland ...
    • - Australia utility back Kurtley Beale has been charged with assault following a scuffle outside a bar in Brisbane last week. More to follow on that story, shortly.

    • - Australia, on the other hand, have stuck with the side that held on despite a huge second half performance from Wales last week, Deans enjoying no injury worries after Sekope Kepu recovered from a knock to the head
    • - Wales: L Halfpenny; A Cuthbert, J Davies, A Beck, G North; R Priestland, M Phillips; G Jenkins, M Rees, A Jones, B Davies, AW Jones, D Lydiate, S Warburton (Captain), R Jones. Replacements: R Hibbard, P James, L Charteris, J Tipuric, R Webb, J Hook, S Williams.

Williams and Charteris drop to the bench
    • - Ireland have just pushed New Zealand incredibly close down in Christchurch, only being denied by a Dan Carter drop goal in the 80th minute as they went down 22-19. All Blacks deny Ireland at the death
    • - Australia were made to work hard last week at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane but eventually ran out 27-19 winners, lead by an oustanding delivery from scrum-half Will Genia
