    Time:80'
    • New Zealand
    • Ireland
    • 80+1 McCaw collects the re-start and that is it. The All Blacks thump the ball out and they have denied Ireland at the death!
    • 80' DROP GOAL NEW ZEALAND! 22-19! This time the pass is much better and Carter drills the ball low through the posts. The All Blacks have the lead with seconds to go ...
    • 80' McCaw picks up the ball from the bottom of the scrum ... back to Dan Carter for the drop goal attempt once again ...
    • 79' Sam Cane ... Weepu ... back to Carter, in the pocket. The pass is shocking and Carter has to leap up to collect before kicking the ball wide with his drop goal. Ireland collect and take the ball but over the dead ball line but Sean O'Brien touched it in flight and it will be a scrum on the 5m line ... one minute remaining!
    • 78' McCaw takes the ball over the 22m line ... then Weepu ... Franks ... they are nearly up to the five metre line now
    • 76' Ireland are penalised, in the All Blacks half, for turning the scrum. The back five are running it round, according to ref Owens, and it gives Carter the chance to clear back into Irish territory
    • 74' Sexton's kick from inside his own half just doesn't have the legs, although his direction was spot on once again. Things are still level with just over five minutes remaining
    • 73' ISRAEL DAGG IS SENT TO THE BIN! He will miss the rest of this clash after jumping in late on Rob Kearney and taking him out. Kearney got the kick away, Dagg was making no attempt to go for the ball, just the man, and Ireland will have a penalty from where the kick landed
    • 71' Another very solid scrum from Ireland is marshalled by Reddan at the back and pushed forward. The Irish make a good five metres before the pop the ball out. They are almost back to the half-way line now
    • 69' PENALTY IRELAND! 19-19! Simple enough for Sexton as he drills the ball in between the posts to level up with around about 12 minutes to go
    • 68' It's another penalty to Ireland as Ali Williams is penalised for cynical play (before having a pop at Sean O'Brien. This is almost exactly from the same spot as the last penalty and Ireland have the chance to level up ...
    • 65' O'Gara breaks for Ireland before finding Sexton on the outside of him! The current Ireland fly-half puts the grubber kick through as he runs out of space and it will be an Irish attacking line-out
    • 64' PENALTY IRELAND! 19-16! This is shaping up to be a barn-storming finish to the clash as Sexton easily adds the three points from right in front of the posts.
    • 63' Fantastic scrum from Ireland as the All Blacks front row collapses under the pressure. Conor Murray feigns to take it quickly but Sexton clearly wants the kick and he wins that particular battle
    • 63' Another bit of a scrap as New Zealand this time are penalised at the breakdown. The referee puts everyone on notice ... he won't allow too much more of this
    • 61' PENALTY NEW ZEALAND! 19-13! Much better kick this time from Carter as he adds another couple of points after a lengthy delay when referee Nigel Owens has to break up a bit of a scrap. Just a few handbags but things are getting heated now
    • 60' New Zealand get themselves to within five metres of the line ... Carter gets his hands through the tackle before finding Dagg ... then Woodcock ... Ireland are penalised for playing the ball off their feet
    • 59' Carter goes for the drop goal but fails to land it, instead pushing the ball wide, and again allowing himself a bit of a smile. But it's symptomatic of New Zealand's struggle tonight. Nothing is quite going their way and that is all credit to Ireland, who have stiffled them
    • 56' New Zealand are relieved as Ireland make another mistake at the breakdown to allow Dagg to clear. The Irish have been looking by far the more threatening team since the re-start but they still trail and can't afford to give the All Blacks too many chances, the hosts are so good at making the opposition pay
    • 52' Healy spills the ball forward, admittedly it was a low ball he was trying to collect, just as Ireland were beginning to build some momentum.
    • 50' Gordon D'Arcy took a Richie McCaw shaped knee to the back a few minutes ago and has finally conceded defeat going off to be replaced by Ronan O'Gara
    • 48' Sexton does brilliantly well to pick up a loose pass before somehow the Irish lose the ball and New Zealand collect, allowing Dagg the chance to kick upfield, along he fails to find touch
    • 48' It has just been confirmed that Read aggravated a nose injury that he initially sustained last week in the first Test and that is why he was substituted at the interval. He won't be returning this week
    • 45' PENALTY IRELAND! 16-13! After an epic wait for Thompson to receive some treatment to his head (fair enough, you don't want to take any chances with that area), Sexton steps up and kicks the three points that keeps Ireland in this clash
    • 44' It's barely stopped since the re-start as Ireland earn a penalty when New Zealand are caught not rolling away. In fairness to Thompson, he is down injured and has barely moved at all let alone to get away from the play. He just got his head in the wrong position making the tackle but it looks as though he will be able to continue
    • 43' CONVERSION NEW ZEALAND! 16-10! Carter makes it look so easy the vast majority of the time as he adds the extra two points from right out on the right touchline
    • 42' TRY NEW ZEALAND! 14-10! Absolutely fantastic re-start from the All Blacks, who have clearly been given a talking to by Steve Hansen in the interval. They waste no time whatsoever in forcing their way to the try-line through scrum-half Aaron Smith
    • 41' Read has not come back out for the second half, replaced instead by Sam Cane, although it is not apparent yet if that's a tactical change or for injury reasons
    • HT So, Ireland go into the break leading New Zealand 10-9 and in search of their first ever win on New Zealand soil!
    • 40+1 Carter fails to put New Zealand into the lead just as the hooter sounds. He had the direction but not quite the length. To be fait though, the kick was from just inside his own half!
    • 40' Ireland turn the ball over through Trimble but it is short-lived as Fergus McFadden plays the ball off his feet and Carter will have one last chance to kick for points before the break ...
    • 39' Just the one minute left now until the interval as New Zealand regain possession when Ireland are penalised on the Kiwi 22 for not releasing the ball ...
    • 37' Whitelock is penalised for not releasing and Ireland finally have the chance to both gain some territory and possession as they kick upfield for the line-out
    • 35' Ireland really need to regain some sort of possession. They haven't hand the ball for some time now as New Zealand come away from a scrum on the half way line on the attack again
    • 34' PENALTY NEW ZEALAND! 9-10! Carter gets things back on track with a much more solid penalty kick that brings the All Blacks back to within one point of Ireland. Ireland perhaps a little lucky there that they only conceded the three points instead of seven
    • 33' New Zealand opt to take the three points on offer as the desperate Irish defence is made to pay for not rolling away from the tackle ...
    • 31' Ireland could be made to pay dearly for a shocking line-out as they throw the ball over the top. New Zealand collect the loose ball through first Dagg and the Savea as the All Blacks make it up into the Irish 22 ...
    • 30' PENALTY NEW ZEALAND! 6-10! Carter allows himself a wry smile as his second kick of the day wobbles it's way in between the posts, only just curling round in time. He thought he'd missed that one, and it must be a bit of a shock for someone as metronomic as himself!
    • 28' Murray is charged down but somehow manage to hold on to the ball ... only to kick not very far upfield in clearance. New Zealand get a little lucky though as Savea lets the ball bounce and is very nearly caught out by the bounce. He recovers to collect though ...
    • 25' Sonny Bill finds Carter, who only just gets the ball away before being thumped in the tackle by Sean O'Brien. The ball remains with NZ though until Dagg is pushed into touch after a mis-understanding with Savea
    • 21' PENALTY NEW ZEALAND! 3-10! Straight from the re-start, Ireland give away the penalty and that is more like the typical New Zealand we have come to know. Immediate retribution as Carter adds another three points to his already whopping international tally. Well over 1000 points to his name now
    • 19' PENALTY IRELAND! 0-10! Wow! Ten unanswered points to the Irish now with just about a quarter of the match gone. Sexton just threads his penalty kick from the right of the park inside the left upright to add another three points to the men in green's tally
    • 18' Ireland earn themselves another penalty and Richie McCaw is furious with the referee as he is told to have a word with his side about infringements at the breakdown. The Irish contingent to the crowd is comfortably drowning out the Kiwi voices now
    • 15' Ireland look much more determined this week than last and as a result are causing New Zealand all manner of problems as the Kiwis enjoy a scrum on the half-way line. The question will be whether the Irish can keep this up for the full 80 minutes
    • 11' CONVERSION IRELAND! 0-7! Great strike from Sexton as he drills the ball right between the posts to add the extra two points. Fantastic start from the Irish after enjoying absolutely no possession whatsoever for the first three minutes of the match
    • 10' TRY IRELAND! 0-5! Great pressure from Ireland. They go for the line-out from the penalty and just bide their time in the ruck before eventually Conor Murray throws the dummy and dives under the arms of Woodcock for the try. The decision goes up to the TMO but that was always going to be awarded
    • 9' Ireland pushing for the line now ... Sexton finds Heaslip, Sexton again ... Donnacha Ryan drops the ball but it didn't go forward and Ireland dive on it once again. Healy picks up the loose ball, Savea drags him down ... penalty Ireland when Whitelock is penalised for playing the ball off his feet
    • 6' Sexton does his confidence no end of good as he belts a clearance kick upfield with a huge amount of power. That's a great kick under pressure from Sexton, who struggled a little last week
    • 4' A little sloppy from NZ in the end as Smith sends the ball wide. Guildford collects off the ground and offloads to Read on the outside of him but the big number eight is just pushed into touch at the last minute. NZ were falling over themselves for that ball there, they had so many men over
    • 4' Sonny Bill just forces his way through Sean O'Brien with worrying ease as New Zealand continue to recycle the ball on the Irish 22
    • 2' A brief shower earlier but no excuses for Sonny Bill Williams mishandling at halfway with men on his outside.
    • 1' Jonathan Sexton kicks off and immediately Wales' Nigel Owens awards the hosts a penalty and they have early territorial adavantage.
    • 08:35 That's the anthems and the haka done. We are ready for the second Test.
    • 08:30 IRELAND: 15-Rob Kearney, 14-Fergus McFadden, 13-Brian O'Driscoll (captain), 12-Gordon D'Arcy, 11-Andrew Trimble, 10-Jonathan Sexton, 9-Conor Murray; 8-Jamie Heaslip, 7-Sean O'Brien, 6-Kevin McLaughlin, 5-Donnacha Ryan, 4-Dan Touhy, 3-Mike Ross, 2-Rory Best, 1-Cian Healy /// Replacements: 16-Sean Cronin, 17-Declan Fitzpatrick, 18-Donncha O'Callaghan, 19-Peter O'Mahony, 20-Eoin Reddan, 21-Ronan O'Gara, 22-Simon Zebo.
    • 08:25 NZ: 15-Israel Dagg, 14-Zac Guildford, 13-Conrad Smith, 12-Sonny Bill Williams, 11-Julian Savea, 10-Dan Carter, 9-Aaron Smith, 8-Kieran Read, 7-Richie McCaw (captain), 6-Adam Thomson, 5-Sam Whitelock, 4-Brodie Retallick, 3-Owen Franks, 2-Andrew Hore, 1-Tony Woodcock /// Replacements: 16-Hikawera Elliott, 17-Ben Franks, 18-Ali Williams, 19-Sam Cane, 20-Piri Weepu, 21-Aaron Cruden, 22-Ben Smith
    • 08:20 New Zealand fly-half Dan Carter is expecting a "ferocious" response from Ireland. "Every time you come up against the Irish you never take them as an easy opponent," he said. "They are always extremely ferocious, they get stuck in and are a dangerous side to play against."
    • 08:15 Captain Brian O'Driscoll insists Ireland "are not playing here for second best" as they look to respond to their emphatic defeat. For O'Driscoll it is essential to respond positively to the defeat at Eden Park and he said: "Every time you pull on a Test jersey, irrespective of the occasion, it is special. This is no different. We are not playing here for second best."
    • 08:10 New Zealand captain Richie McCaw was satisfied by the All Blacks' performance in their series-opening win against Ireland - but has demanded an improvement this morning. The hosts cruised to a 42-10 victory in Auckland last weekend. "We had a good look at how it went, we were pretty happy with a lot of it, but if you thought you'd got it sorted, you'll come unstuck," said McCaw.
    • 08:05 While last February's earthquake reduced New Zealand's second largest city to rubble, Christchurch's love for rugby remains unbroken and the city's recovery takes another step forward when the All Blacks host Ireland.
