    Time:80'
    • New Zealand
    • Ireland
    • 10:25 That's not it from me, far from it. England kick off against Australia in just half an hour. Follow that humdinger here.
    • 80+3' And there's the whistle! Ireland have been hammered but, to their credit, showed real character in the second half. New Zealand were full of running and score a hatful of tries but will be disappointed to concede 28 points against 14 men. Still, with 66 points of their own, not a bad win at all for the All Blacks.
    • 80+3' Another Irish penalty in their own half. Again they keep the ball in play and we're still going.
    • 80+1' Ireland knock on and there's one more chance to New Zealand to score. Nope, penalty and the visitors, determined to get another face-saving try on the board, head down field!
    • 80' There goes the hooter - final play. Ireland pressing.
    • 79' Trimble looks to escape down the left and looks like he might do so but a NZ hand grabs his shirt to bring him down.
    • 78' That's now a record total for New Zealand against Ireland. Weepu converts.
    • 78' Whitelock restores order and shrugs off a handful of tackles to power over the line.
    • 77' Sexton converts. 28 points on the board for Ireland. Not bad at all.
    • 75' Buckley and Cronin combine well to find D'Arcy - try! Superb stuff from Ireland - great character. New Zealand are holding a mini inquest behind the posts.
    • 73' Bad luck - that won't count. Looks like Trimble slid out. Just.
    • 72' Play is switched with Bowe looking to burst through again. NZ hold strong but the visitors have the bit between their teeth and Trimble receives a high pass wide left to slide home! Wayne Barnes will consult the video ref - was Trimble forced into touch?
    • 71' Lovely blindside hands from O'Driscoll to release Bowe on the right touch line. The Ireland man is subquently brought down for a penalty.
    • 70' Cruden has made a superb start to his international career. Excellent with the ball.
    • 67' New Zealand record win against Ireland stands at 63-15 - expect to that that surpassed today.
    • 65' Ah, that didn't take long, did it? NZ put pressure on the Ireland line, with Weepu trying to burst through. The ref blows up for holding on (against Ireland) and NZ start play quickly with Tialata exploiting the gap to power through. The conversion sails over.
    • 63' New Zealand may be out of sight here but they've let their game slip and will not want Ireland to win the second half.
    • 61' Two more on the board for O'Gara.
    • 61' Here we go! Ireland score! Boric dispossesses Ireland deep in NZ territory but Bowe poaches the subsequent pass and slides between the posts.
    • 58' O'Gara sends over the extras. Credit to Ireland, they've come out fighting in this second half. Substitue Buckley has been excellent.
    • 57' Captain O'Driscoll shows what he's made of, receiving the ball a couple of yards from the line after a succession of intricate passes before driving over. Inspirational stuff, even under these testing conditions.
    • 56' Ireland players are dropping like flies. This time Jennings is down as play continues around him 10 yards from the NZ line.
    • 55' Ireland fans are understandly not happy; noel in the comments section below: ".Heaslip is an idiot, disgraceful action, deserves the red card and a ban"
    • 54' Superb moment for Cruden, who recovered from testicular cancer, as he replaces Carter to make his New Zealand debut. Perfect arena for the talented youngster to get off the mark.
    • 53' Sounds like Mick O'Driscoll, who limped off in the first half, could have torn his hamstring. Not a good day for Ireland at all.
    • 52' Carter continues his kicking practice with another kick through the centre of the posts.
    • 51' Ouch. Ouch. Ouch. Weepu slips back a superb pass to Boric to undo the Ireland defence. Boric returns the favour and Weepu finds Whitelock, who sails over untouched. Too easy. Lovely handling from Weepu, though.
    • 50' That way New Zealand's sixth try of the match and local boy Smith's second. He'll be chuffed with that on his home ground.
    • 49' And Carter sends over the conversion. I can see a theme developing here.
    • 48' Ireland have a decent spell of possession but one sloppy pass and it's all over. Jane superbly receives a long ball out right and it takes just one pass to Smith to destory the Ireland defence. Try.
    • 45' Great to see Kearney showing some character there - that's what it's all about for Ireland now.
    • 44' Brilliant stuff from Ireland full back Kearney, who picks up the ball deep before embarking on a daring run up field. The visitors soon relinquish possession though.
    • 42' Weepu replaced double try scorer Cowan, who had a groin niggle, at the break.
    • 41' NZ kick off.
    • 09:30 Still with me? Good. We're ready to start again.
    • 40' Wayne Barnes has seen enough and blows up for half-time. It's 38-7 at the break. Declan Kidney has some team talk on his hands.
    • 39' Dagg chips a low ball forward and chases but it's into touch near the Ireland try-line.
    • 37' O'Gara picks up the extras to ensure it's seven points on the board.
    • 37' Hold on, what's this? IRELAND SCORE! Tuohy with a superb pick-up on his debut to sail through the NZ ranks and open his international account.
    • 36' More bad news for Ireland - the injured Mick O'Driscoll is replaced by debutant Tuohy. O'Gara returns from the sin bin.
    • 35' Carter must have wondered before the match whether he'll reach the 1000 points mark today. Well, he's comfortably on his way to 2000 now with another successful conversion.
    • 34' I can't keep up! Ireland, two men down, part like the Red Sea and Thorn plays a basketball pass to Cowan who, under the nose of two helpess Irish, puts down his second of the match.
    • 33' John Hayes pulled out of the Ireland XV at the last minute with a virus - Tom Court brought in as cover - and I can imagine he's pretty glad to be missing out on his right now.
    • 32' You guessed it - Carter converts.
    • 31' Dagg is absolutely running riot in the NZ midfield and Cowan is slipped beautifully to cruise over the line. This is a rout.
    • 30' Carter sends another effortless kick over from wide right to extend the lead to 24-0.
    • 29' Yep, no problem there and the All Blacks move further ahead. Franks with his first try.
    • 28' If Ireland keep out one attack, then New Zealand will just hit back with another. This time debutant Franks bundles over and Wayne Barnes calls a time-out to consult the video referee. Replays show the try looks good...
    • 27' Smith slips in Carter under the posts but Ireland hold firm. Just. The All Blacks smell blood and the Ireland line is forever under seige.
    • 25' O'Gara tugs back Jane after he chipped through and the Ireland talisman is sin-binned. Dear oh dear, Ireland need to get their act together.
    • 23' Carter sets up the conversion from a tight angle... and it's over! That's 1000 points in the bag for his - great effort.
    • 22' TRY! Do I need to tell you who to? NZ switch play and Jane finds Franks before Read bundles over.
    • 21' Dagg and Stanley combine well to find Rokocoko wide right but the All Black wing, fastest in speed testing this week, can't beat the Ireland line.
    • 20' The All Blacks, with Carter continuing to pull the strings, look like the will score with every move. This time Ireland keep them out but O'Gara, once again, fails to find touch with his kick.
    • 18' Sorry, my mistake, this SHOULD be a drubbing. What a shame for Ireland fans.
    • 17' What now for Ireland? This could be a drubbing.
    • 16' Heaslip is sent off! Replays show the Ireland man violently throwing his knee into the ruck not once but twice. Absolutely crazy - Wayne Barnes had no choice but to send him to the stands.
    • 16' Ireland look to hit back immediately and D'Arcy is brought down inches from the line! The referee blows up and there's a few handbags...
    • 14' You just can't afford mistakes like that at this level, let alone against the All Blacks in NZ!
    • 13' Easy as you like for Carter, who makes it 10-0 to the All Blacks.
    • 12' TRY! Ireland force the turn over but give it straight back to NZ! Smith kicks through and chases before Kearney goes down to collect. He can't keep hold of the ball and Smith pounces to slide over!
    • 11' O'Gara looks to set Cronin through with a neat chip but it's intercepted.
    • 10' Ireland will need to up their game - and fast - if they're to claim a historice victory today.
    • 9' Dagg has made an impressive start to his All Blacks career and looks to make another marauding run forward.
    • 8' Carter strikes a sweet left-footed penalty which sails between the posts. That takes his test match points tally to 997. 3-0 to NZ.
    • 7' Carter will go for goal...
    • 6' O'Gara looks for touch but is way off target and NZ are back in possession. Hold on, Ireland knock on and it's a penalty to the hosts.
    • 5' Ireland get the penalty at the break down.
    • 5' First scrum goes to Ireland, whose pack weighs 885kg compared to the All Blacks' 872kg.
    • 3' The home side are retaining possession superbly and Carter nearly squeezes through before Ireland finally see some of the ball.
    • 3' NZ are asserting the early pressure with Stanley looking to break through before play is switched.
    • 2' NZ pump the ball deep into Ireland territory but the visitors claim the resulting line-out superbly.
    • 1' And we're off! Ireland get us underway
    • 08:35 Englishman Wayne Barnes is the referee today.
    • 08:34 This is also a huge match for New Zealand in their preparations for hosting the World Cup, which is just 15 months away.

    • 08:32 These two have faced each other 22 times, with NZ victorious in 21. The only blotch on their record is a 10-10 draw.
    • 08:30 Three debutants in the NZ line-up today: Israel Dagg, Benson Stanley and Ben Franks. How will they settle into life at the top?
