    Time:80'
    • New Zealand
    • Argentina
    • FT Sure enough Nigel Owens calls time on the game and New Zealand are through to face Australia in next weeks semi-final
    • 80' New Zealand look to break through Cory Jane once again but he chips upfield and Argentina get back to defend before being pushed into touch and that should be that
    • 78' CONVERSION NEW ZEALAND! 33-10! Cruden lands a great conversion kick to add the extras from the right wing and there is just two minutes remaining now
    • 77' TRY NEW ZEALAND! 31-10! Cowan finds Jane on the right wing ... Jane chucks the ball up to Read as he is dragged into touch ... Read finds Thorn inside him and Thorn has an easy run over the line for New Zealand's second try
    • 76' The throw is poor and over the top and actually it's not straight either as New Zealand win a scrum to clear upfield and put play back into the middle of the park
    • 74' New Zealand are penalised at the breakdown and Contepomi kick play down past the 22m line as Argentine look to get a consolation try
    • 73' PENALTY NEW ZEALAND! 26-10! Weepu lands his seventh penalty of the night before being both named man of the match and janked off to be replaced by Jimmy Cowan. Richie McCaw is also heading off the pitch as Victor Vito comes on
    • 71' Fantastic tackling on McCaw as Argentine push him back behind the 10m line. New Zealand retain possession though and Creevy is penalised right out in front of the posts when he plays the ball off his feet ...
    • 69' Weepu misses the conversion, his first missed kick off the day, as he pulls it across the front of goal and just past the left upright but New Zealand now firmly in control of the scoreboard with only just over 10 minutes remaining
    • 68' TRY NEW ZEALAND! 23-10! Finally New Zealand cross the line! Kaino puts in a no look pass and the ball very nearly gets intercepted by Rodriguez but instead it reaches Read, who has a free run over the line for the try!
    • 66' A great kick from Weepu looks like it has been dealt with well by substitue Imhoff but the flag is up and he was just in touch ... Vergallo returns to the field after doing his time in the bin
    • 63' A huge All Blacks scrum ... the ball is loose ... but Leguizamon gets back to collect it and the All Blacks are penalised for joining the ruck incorrectly. Argentina will clear but only just past their own 22m line
    • 62' Read finds McCaw ... McCaw makes five metres before being hauled down but he finds Cruden in the tackle ... Cruden has support outside him but fails to offload and instead spills the ball forward as he goes down. Argentina again escape
    • 59' PENALTY NEW ZEALAND! 18-10! Weepu decides the take the three points and easily adds another three points. The All Blacks move their tally out to above a converted try
    • 58' No try! Somone's leg was underneath the ball as McCaw tried to get it down. Whichever Argentine player that was knew nothing about that but he has stopped McCaw from scoring a try! The will go back for the penalty though ...
    • 58' McCaw thinks he has scored New Zealand's first try of the match as he gets the ball over the line and up against the post padding. Referee Owens deals with a yellow card first as he sends Vergallo to the sin bin for hands in the ruck ... now the decision will go to the TMO ...
    • 57' Weepu ... just five metres away now ... Kaino and McCaw are looking to get the ball out ... Mealamu ... Woodcock ... New Zealand playing advantage now ... Franks ...
    • 55' Weepu finds Cruden ... he breaks through and makes 50m ... he finds Nonu with a great offload in the tackle ... slow ball from the bottom of the ruck ... Weepu kicks across field for Cruden, now on the right wing ... but Rodriguez is there to shove the replacement flyhalf into touch before he can get the ball down
    • 53' Weepu tidies up at the back as Argentina look to get some territory ...
    • 51' Sonny Bill breaks down the left wing and does brilliantly well to offload despite being smashed into touch Camacho ... but Nonu spills the ball forward as he tries to collect and the move breaks down
    • 49' PENALTY NEW ZEALAND! 15-10! Weepu re-establishes New Zealand's five point lead with another very straight forward kick, adding to his personal tally
    • 48' The All Blacks apply the pressure through McCaw first ... they recycle through pretty much the whole line ... and McCaw eventually wins the penalty when Argentina fail to roll away
    • 46' PENALTY ARGENTINA! 12-10! A fantastic kick from Marcelo Bosch as he steps up to the long-range kick, on the half-way line, and gets Argentina to back within two points
    • 45' Whitelock does brilliantly well to turn the ball over, again from Ledesma, but Argentina quickly get a chance to redeem themelves for that when New Zealand are penalised for crossing over ...
    • 42' Argentina make a great start to the second half as Ledesma gets the better of McCaw and steps inside of him. But McCaw recovers enough to get the turnover when Ledesma is eventually hauled down
    • 41' One half-time substitution to update you with as Mils Muliaina has not come back as he picked up a shoulder injury in that first half. He has been replaced by Isaia Toeava
    • 41' New Zealand get the second half underway through the boot of Weepu ...
    • 40+1' Weepu puts an end to the half by booting out into the crowd and that'll be the interval. Argentina have kept New Zealand try less for the first 40 minutes but the hosts still lead, thanks to the boot of Piri Weepu
    • 40+1' Roncero goes off to be replaced by Marcos Ayerza just before the interval
    • 40' PENALTY NEW ZEALAND! 12-7! Weepu's easiest kick of the night is duly dispatched and the All Blacks extend their lead once again
    • 38' New Zealand are playing advantage but Weepu attempts a little kick through for Jane to chase. Agulla does very well to collect but New Zealand will come back for the penalty kick ...
    • 38' Nonu almost gets through the Argentine line but Roncero just holds on to his ankle to haul him down ... New Zealand retain possession and they are on the 22m line now ...
    • 36' PENALTY NEW ZEALAND! 9-7! The All Blacks sneak back into the lead after another pinpoint kick from Weepu through the centre of the posts
    • 35' Cruden's first touch sees him get slammed by Contepomi but as the newly introduced flyhalf slipped as he looked to change direction, Contepomi gets done for an unintentional high tackle. Weepu will kick for another three points ...
    • 33' Slade finally decides he cannot continue and he goes off to make way for Aaron Cruden, who takes over at fly-half
    • 32' CONVERSION ARGENTINA! 6-7! For just the second time in this tournament New Zealand find themself behind on the scoreboard as Contepomi lands a solid conversion kick
    • 31' TRY ARGENTINA! 6-5! Fantastic from Los Pumas as the ball goes to ground just a couple of metres short. Julio Farias Cabello is there for the quick pick up and go and he dives over the line. Argentina have the first try of the night!
    • 29' Senatore breaks for Argentina ... he makes 20m skipping past Read and McCaw but putting up a great pass over the head to Contepomi ... Contepomi shows brilliant hands to offload again outside him ...
    • 28' Comtepomi drags his kick marginally wide of the left upright as New Zealand escape ...
    • 27' Argentina get a penalty of their own after New Zealand are penalised for pulling down in the lineout and Contepomi will get a kick at the posts of his own ...
    • 25' PENALTY NEW ZEALAND! 6-0! An easier kick from Weepu this time around as he again has little trouble in landing it to double the All Blacks lead
    • 25' The scrum breaks down on Argentina's side, the front row collapsing under the pressure, and this time Weepu will kick for the three points ...
    • 24' Having just done brilliantly well to save a try Vergallo puts his side in real trouble as his pass to Rodriguez is a shocker, sailing well over his fullback's head and out beyond the dead ball line ... it'll be a five metre scrum to New Zealand
    • 22' Weepu kicks across field for Jane, who barely receives the ball before kicking up for Mils to chase. It looks like it's going to be perfect but the bounce just favours Nicolas Vergallo and they collect about four metres short ...
    • 19' No try New Zealand! Read's left foot slide just into touch before coming back into play as he went down for the try and that will not count. Argentina have escaped that one
    • 19' A very patient build-up from the All Blacks. The All Blacks work the ball over to the right wing and they have a man over ... Slade finds Read right on the wing and he dives over in the corner. The decision will go to the TMO though ...
    • 18' Weepu to Slade ... Sonny Bill ... Thorn on the right wing ... Weepu ... Kaino ... the All Blacks are over the 22m line. Slade is down for New Zealand ...
    • 16' New Zealand get to the 22m line through Weepu, then Read and finally McCaw ... Weepu to Slade ... Nonu ... Weepu ... Slade ... the pass is poor from Slade but Weepu tidies up ... they've been pushed back to just behind the 22m
    • 14' New Zealand break and have huge numbers but Weepu's pass to Smith is a little high and the centre fails to collect, instead knocking on. It'll be an Argentine scrum 10m into All Blacks territory
    • 13' PENALTY NEW ZEALAND! 3-0! Argentine are penalised for offside 10m into their own half and Piri Weepu, taking the pressure off Slade, steps up to drill the ball right in between the posts for the first points of the game
    • 11' Sonny Bill collects the ball after juggling with it ... New Zealand recycle to the right wing and Cory Jane runs straight from the outside of Agulla. He has Nonu in support but instead chips upfield and sends it straight out
    • 10' Fernandez attempts a drop goal for Argentina but he doesn't have the distance and the ball dips underneath the bar at the last minute. It's a statement of intent from Los Pumas though as they have made a solid start to this game
    • 8' Slade takes his eyes off the ball before catching it and instead spills ... an Argentine toe boots upfield and Camacho sets off in pursuit. He just fails to get to the ball first and New Zealand escape 10m from the line
    • 7' Jerome Kaino is very slow to get up from a ruck and he looks to be in a bit of trouble. Eventually he does make it back up on to his feet
    • 5' Argentina work their way into the All Blacks half but Nonu shoves Agulla into touch before getting involved in a bit of push and shove with the Argentine winger when he doesn't give the ball up immediately
    • 3' Slade finds Sonny Bill Williams, who gets over the game line before finding Cory Jane inside him ... Jane breaks through three tackles but eventually gets pulled down and Franks spills the ball forward
    • 2' Nonu puts a little kick through for his back line to chase but Argentina pick up and clear. It only goes as far as Slade though ...
    • 1' Argentina get the match underway through the boot of Felipe Contepomi ...
    • - The national anthems and haka over and done with, we are now just 80 minutes away from knowing the final team to reach the last four
    • - Muliaina leads the teams out on to the pitch in honour of his 100th cap. We just have the anthems and the haka to go before kick-off now ....
    • - Argentina: 15-Martin Rodriguez, 14-Gonzalo Camacho, 13-Marcelo Bosch, 12-Felipe Contepomi (captain), 11-Horacio Agulla, 10-Santiago Fernandez, 9-Nicolas Vergallo, 8-Leonardo Senatore, 7-Juan Manuel Leguizamon, 6-Julio Farias Cabello, 5-Patricio Albacete, 4-Manuel Carizza, 3-Juan Figallo, 2-Mario Ledesma, 1-Rodrigo Roncero/////Replacements: 16-Agustin Creevy, 17-Martin Scelzo, 18-Marcos Ayerza, 19-Alejandro Campos, 20-Alfredo Lalanne, 21-Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino, 22-Juan Jose Imhoff
    • - Argentina have reverted to the side that beat Scotland for today’s clash, the only change being at number eight after Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe was ruled out of the tournament with a knee injury to be replaced by Leonardo Senatore. Senatore played in Argentina's last pool match against Georgia and there are four changes from that team with prop Rodrigo Roncero, lock Manuel Carizza, winger Gonzalo Camacho and fullback Martin Rodriguez all restored to the side.
    • - New Zealand: 15-Mils Muliaina, 14-Cory Jane, 13-Conrad Smith, 12-Ma'a Nonu, 11-Sonny Bill Williams, 10-Colin Slade, 9-Piri Weepu, 8-Kieran Read, 7-Richie McCaw (captain), 6-Jerome Kaino, 5-Brad Thorn, 4-Sam Whitelock, 3-Owen Franks, 2-Keven Mealamu, 1-Tony Woodcock/////Replacements: 16-Andrew Hore, 17-Ben Franks, 18-Ali Williams, 19-Victor Vito, 20-Jimmy Cowan, 21-Aaron Cruden, 22-Isaia Toeava.
    • - Piri Weepu, who provides a back-up place-kicking option for Slade, has won the battle for the scrum-half spot while Henry has restored first-choice centres Ma'a Nonu and Conrad Smith to play the Argentines. Back rower Adam Thomson was originally selected for the team but ruled out through injury. But McCaw returns at openside flanker despite the "niggly" foot problem.
    • - Colin Slade, as expected, was handed the role of fly-half in place of Dan Carter. Sonny Bill Williams and Cory Jane come into the side on the wings after hamstring injuries ruled out Richard Kahui and Zac Guildford.
    • - Mils Muliaina is winning his 100th cap for the All Blacks today. Two weeks after captain Richie McCaw became the first All Black to reach the milestone, a thigh injury to in-form fullback Israel Dagg has given Muliaina the chance to match him.
