  1. - - So Andy Murray is through to the semi-finals, to join two more former champions in Marin Cilic and Lleyton Hewitt. Next up for Murray will be either Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, who Murray beat in the final two years ago, or American Denis Kudla.

  2. - - MURRAY 4-6 7-6(3) - GAME, SET & MATCH! But Murray does finally wrap up the win at the fourth attempt when he produces an injection of pace on a cross court backhand that Becker can only return into the net.

  3. - - MURRAY 4-6 6-6 (6-3) - TIE-BREAK! The first match point goes begging when Murray goes long with a backhand down the line as does the second with a forehand long down the line. And the third with a netted forehand down the line.

  4. - - MURRAY 4-6 6-6 (6-0) - TIE-BREAK! Murray works his way up to the net and riffles a forehand winner down the line to quickly ease out to the mini-break lead in this breaker. Becker then slaps down a double fault to gift the Scot another point before a wild inside-out forehand well wide and a forehand winner from Murray see him change ends with six match points.

  5. - - MURRAY 4-6 6-6 - Murray holds without too much trouble to force this set, and possibly the match, to be decided by the tie-break.

  6. - - MURRAY 4-6 5-6 - Murray takes the first point of the game easing out wide to whip a forehand winner across court. But Becker rattles off four straight points after that and holds with ease to leave Murray serving to stay in this second set for a second time.

  7. - - MURRAY 6-4 5-5 - Murray again finds himself in a spot of bother on serve as he is forced to recover from 15-30 down, which he does with a big first serve that Becker can only return wide. The Scot then makes a trip into the net to earn himself a game point with a forehand stop volley winner before almost having to win the game twice, his forehand onto the line being called out and having to replay the point.

  8. - - MURRAY 6-4 4-5 - Well watched from Becker as he slams down a smash winner to hold for the loss of just the one point (when he sends a forehand just wide). Murray will have to serve to stay in this second set after the change of ends.

  9. - - MURRAY 6-4 4-4 - Murray thinks he has held to love only to have his forehand called long. He challenges, incorrectly as it turns out, before going on to hold with a big first serve for the loss of just that one point. We're fully back on serve in this second set.

  10. - - MURRAY 6-4 3-4 - BREAK! Better from Murray as he immediately gets the break back, snatching the game to 30 with a deep forehand down the centre of the court that Becker cannot deal with.

  11. - - MURRAY 6-4 2-4 - BREAK! A double fault from Murray hands Becker another break point. The chance goes begging when the German fails to get his forehand return back into play but he gets a second chance when Murray goes long with a regulation forehand down the middle third of the court. And this time Becker does break for the lead when Murray nets a forehand down the centre of the court.

  12. - - MURRAY 6-4 2-3 - Murray is battling with his own concentration today as much as he is his opponent as he throws in another distracted game to help Becker hold for the loss of just the one point and sneak ahead in this second set.

  13. - - MURRAY 6-4 2-2 - BREAK! Just like in the first set after the second break, Murray quickly finds himself three break back points down when Becker catches the Scot flat-footed on the baseline and produces a backhand winner across court. Ther German only needs the one point to get back on level terms though as he shows a good turn of pace up to the drop shot and puts away a backhand passing shot winner across court.

  14. - - MURRAY 6-4 2-1 - BREAK! Murray earns himself two early break points and although the first goes begging when his forehand pick-up just fails to clear the net, the Scot does break at the second attempt when Becker goes for the cute forehand drop shot only to put the ball wide.

  15. - - MURRAY 6-4 1-1 - Murray races through another very quick service hold, throwing in an ace (his fourth of the match so far) in the process.

  16. - - MURRAY 6-4 0-1 - Murray applies the pressure straight away and is already 0-30 up before Becker can get on the scoreboard by pushing Murray first one side and then the next, eventually finding the inside-out forehand winner across court. But Becker comes through unscathed in the end as Murray just misses a running backhand pass.

  17. - - Becker is having an medical timeout during the change of ends for treatment to a right shoulder injury.

  18. - - MURRAY 6-4 - SET! Ace number three from Murray brings up three set points. But he only needs the one as he fires down another big serve that puts Becker on the back-foot, the German floating a backhand long down the line a couple of shots later.

  19. - - MURRAY 5-4 - Becker matches Murray's love service game with one of his own (the game ending on a Murray forehand return that drifts just long) to force the Scot to serve out this first set.

  20. - - MURRAY 5-3 - A love service hold for Murray ends when he makes a trip into the net and puts away the easy forehand volley winner to leave Becker serving to stay in this opening set.

  21. - - MURRAY 4-3 - Much better from Becker on serve as he holds to 30 with a big serve and a forehand winner. Murray has just lost a bit of concentration in the last couple of games and credit to Becker as he has taken full advantage of that.

  22. - - MURRAY 4-2 - BREAK! A poor backhand error from Murray, the ball sailing long, sets Becker on his way to a break back point. Murray saves it with a body serve but the German earns himself a second chance with a great forehand volley. And this time Becker does get the break back when Murray nets a forehand.

  23. - - MURRAY 4-1 - BREAK! An trip into the net and an easy forehand stop volley winner from Murray followed by a flicked forehand approach shot winner from the Scot brings up two more break points. But this time Murray only needs the one as Becker gifts him the game with a forehand long.

  24. - - MURRAY 3-1 - Murray races through another very confident looking service hold to put all the pressure back on Becker at the end end of the court.

  25. - - MURRAY 2-1 - A double fault from the German does not exactly help his cause allowing, Murray to level at 15-15. Becker quickly recovers with an ace of 115mph but Murray levels again with a trip into the net and an inside-out forehand stop volley winner. A loose backhand long down the line hands Murray another break point. Becker saves it with a smash and backhand volley winner before going on to hold with a winner and get his side of the scoreboard ticking over.

  26. - - MURRAY 2-0 - Murray opens up his first service game with an ace before going on to hold to 30 when Becker sends an inside-out cross court forehand just marginally wide across court - confirmed by a hawkeye challenge after the German thought his ball had caught the line.

  27. - - MURRAY 1-0 - BREAK! Murray earns himself an early break point when Becker goes for the change-of-direction forehand winner down the line after a lengthy rally only to hit his shot just marginally long. And Murray does get the early break when Becker nets a low cross court forehand. Great start from the Scot.

  28. - - Here we go then, the players are just about ready to go and it will be Becker to get the clash underway by serving first ...

  29. - - Murray on the other hand has a 61-14 win-loss record on grass, with three titles to his name - at Queen's in 2009 and 2011 and then, obviously, at the Olympics at Wimbledon last year.

  30. - - The German doesn't have the best of records on grass, having won 24 matches and lost 18, although he has won a title on the surface before - s-Hertogenbosch back in 2009.

  31. - - These two have never met before on any surface so there is bound to be a fair amount of Murray testing Becker in the opening exchanges. With the possible exception of the serve, however, Murray does pretty much everything better than the German, who is ranked 103 places below him.

  32. - - The third last-eight clash of today is between top seed, and two-times former champion, Andy Murray and German Benjamin Becker.

  33. - - Hello and welcome to LIVE coverage from quarter-finals day at the AEGON Championships at Queen's Club.
