Alkmaar Fans Attempt to Invade West Ham Stand After Europa Conference League Semi-Final

AZ Alkmaar fans could be seen storming into a West Ham stand following the Hammers win in the Europa Conference League semi-final second leg match in Alkmaar, Netherlands, on Thursday, May 18.

Footage recorded by @jamie_lomax11 shows several yellow-clad officials attempting to manage black-clad fans on the edge of the pitch.

The London Evening Standard reported that AZ Alkmaar fans had raced around the edge of the field to the West Ham stand after the final whistle.

Family members of West Ham players and staff were sitting in the stand at the time, the report added.

The incident follows a similar confrontation in London on May 11, where the Express reported that family members of Alkmaar staff were removed from London Stadium following verbal threats from West Ham fans.
