Community meeting focuses on helping students heal from trauma

A community meeting in Druid Hill Park Thursday night focused on helping kids heal from trauma, especially after youth violence hits close to home. "It's been really tough this year. We've lost several students, but also, we have people who were impacted by the loss of those students," said Ashley Esposito, commissioner of the Baltimore City Board of Education. That's one reason the Alliance to Reclaim Our Schools is asking for community feedback on how to address trauma and student safety in Baltimore City schools.
