MATT HARMON: What is going on with this whole Jimmy G Raiders contract? So Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio uncovered in Jimmy Garoppolo's contract-- there's an issue here. Do you remember, Dalton, when the Raiders delayed his introductory press conference? And they were like, oh, no. No, it's just-- it's not a big deal. It's not a big deal. Turns out, it was kind of a big deal.

Basically, he failed his physical at his signing, and he had foot surgery. And now he can be released without any penalty by the Raiders this summer because of that foot injury that he had in 2020.

DALTON DEL DON: It's a disaster waiting to happen because Garoppolo was already one of the more injury-prone players. He put off the surgery, which he's done before in the past. We could be seeing a lot of Brian Hoyer or Aidan O'Connell. It just makes Davante Adams and Josh Jacobs riskier fantasy picks.

MATT HARMON: Davante Adams is still the seventh wide receiver in expert consensus rankings right now. He's pretty high just in terms of overall players. He's the 17th overall player off the board. Do you feel comfortable with that knowing, in the back of your mind, not only is there a chance Jimmy G might miss games, there's a chance that if Jimmy G's foot's not right, they just cut him before week 1? And then-- I mean, literally, what are the Raiders going to do at quarterback at that point? That makes him incredibly risky.

DALTON DEL DON: He proved me wrong last year, though, and he's a beast. Maybe still the best real-life receiver. But in, fantasy given these risks, I'm taking CeeDee Lamb ahead of him. I might even be talked into Amon-Ra St. Brown ahead of him. I mean, the targets are just going to be so, so massive, especially the first half of the year. But yeah, there's risk here.
