FBI agent, co-defendant in spy trial testify

Jurors on Thursday heard from an FBI agent and one of the defendants in the federal criminal trial of two doctors accused of conspiring to help Russia. Prosecutors said Anna Gabrielian, a Johns Hopkins anesthesiologist, and her active duty Army officer husband, Jamie Lee Henry, conspired to help Russia. The couple was arrested in September 2022 after an undercover operation accused them of trying to be Russian spies. The government contends the couple conspired to help Russia in the early days of the war in Ukraine by sharing the private and "exploitable" health records of their patients. Prosecutors called the case agent, FBI Agent Matthew Walker, to the stand, who told the jury that the doctors offered and produced the files all on their own last summer.
