Hail Pelts Denver Metro Area as Severe Thunderstorm Hits

A severe thunderstorm brought hail to the Denver metro area on Thursday, May 25.

This footage by Lauren Duda shows heavy hail falling on a backyard in Centennial, Colorado, a Denver suburb.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Denver and Centennial. Winds of up to 50 mph and hail up to half-dollar size were possible, they said.
