Investors await 'show me the money' moment -market researcher

STORY: Brown says, "I think in terms of investor concerns, they're waiting to see what what is that impact of inflation going to be on corporate profits and on consumer behavior. So far, it doesn't seem that that it's had a huge impact. People are still out buying. Revenues were OK in the quarter. Costs maybe were up but not up hugely. And so that was good news. But consumer confidence has come way down. And so I think investors are probably concerned."
