Janelle Monáe announces new album

Monáe will soon drop her first album in five years, 'The Age of Pleasure,' 'Pitchfork' reports. Her last album, 'Dirty Computer,' was released in 2018. Her new single, "Lipstick Lover," dropped on May 11 and was accompanied by a sensual video. While speaking about her new album in an Apple Music 1 interview, Monáe said:, "All the songs were written from such an honest space." "Listen, I've had my age of depression. I've had my age of anxiety. I've had my age of struggle."
