Mesmerizing Timelapse Captures Crystal-Clear Milky Way Shining Over Tasmania

A photographer spent 13 hours on May 16 filming a mesmerizing timelapse of the Milky Way from the Bay of Fires on the northeastern coast of Tasmania.

Ben Swanson told Storyful that the Earth’s rotation made the Milky Way look like it was traveling from east to west throughout the night.
