'Plowable' Hail Builds Up in Denver Area as Severe Storms Move North

Severe storms brought hail, lightning, and heavy rain to Colorado on Wednesday, May 10, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Footage from Mark Savage shows hail raining down in Aurora on Wednesday afternoon.

Photos posted by Savage show the accumulated hail, which he described as “plowable”.

The NWS issued several tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings as the storms moved across the state.
