Pregnant Woman Rescued From Italian Balcony Amid Deadly Floods

At least nine people have been confirmed dead in severe flooding in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region, local media reported on May 18.

Rivers across the region burst their banks, with thousands of people evacuated after over two months’ worth of rain fell in the space of 48 hours earlier in the week.
