Residents Survey Damage in Gaza Before Ceasefire

Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad group in Gaza agreed to a truce that came into effect on Saturday, May 13, according to reports, as the latest flare-up of violence between Israel and Palestine entered its fifth day.

Footage by Mohamed el Saife shows an explosion and residents surveying rubble in the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in Deir Al-Balah, he said.

Israel launched a fresh wave of airstrikes on Gaza on Saturday, and Palestinian militants fired rockets toward Israel.
