Shark Circles Close to Man and Child Swimming at Orange Beach, Alabama

A shark was spotted swimming meters away from beachgoers at Orange Beach, Alabama, on May 29.

15-year-old Jackson Silvio was monitoring the shark activity in the Gulf of Mexico when he captured the encounter on his drone. His footage shows the shark circling past a man and child in the water.

According to Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism, The Gulf is home to 50 species of sharks with about 20 to 30 species that beachgoers and fishermen can encounter.
