An extreme skier triggered an avalanche while cruising down a snow-covered mountain in Alaska.Drone footage shows the sports daredevile looking like a small dot as he glided down the steep Berlin Wall area in Thompson Pass, Valdez, on April 10.But halfway down the frozen terrain, a large blanket of snow shook and fell down with the man.The skier reached the foot of the mountain within seconds, partially buried under the snow.The skier Danny Kern said: ‘We encountered some wind slab and triggered an avalanche on the northwest face of the Berlin Wall.‘I'm so humbled by the mountains everywhere I go.'The Berlin Wall is an area in the Chugach Mountains in Alaska which is a popular destination for skiing and snowboarding as it is a long, steep ridge that runs from north to south.
