Suspected Tornado Damages Buildings South of Oklahoma City

A suspected tornado damaged several homes and businesses in the town of Noble, south of Oklahoma City, on Thursday night, May 11, and more severe weather was expected on Friday.

This footage from Garrett Tarver shows damage at an eatery in Noble, as well as storm clouds outside Norman and Cole.

The National Weather Service confirmed Thursday night that a tornado had touched down in Cole, and warned that a storm near Noble was “capable of producing a tornado.” Later, authorities in McClain County reported damage in Cole, and Cleveland County officials reported damage in Noble.
